I got stuck pushing and trimming while my husband rode the rider.

Granted we mow 4 acres here and have lots of trees to trim around..........

...but ...WOW!....I am so sore this morning. Had a hard time getting my old @ss out of bed.

My daughter's prom is on Saturday night...her dress is strapless.

She is light skinned and has been tanning for over a month. She is not as pale but has no "glow" to her. She want to use a sunless tanner to give her a tanner look around her shoulders and upper chest. She doesn't want to be dark skinned.

Questions I have....Is it to late to use a tanner?

If not....what is best kind for light tanned look?

Is she better off using regular makeup bronzer and lightly brush on shoulders and chest?

She is up for prom queen and I don't want her up on stage looking all orange.

Any help would be appreciated!!!!

oh...wait ....they already had Dolly on....guess they producers really are trying to bore us to death this year.

I have never liked Mariah and after hearing her songs done by the American Idol contestants I am even less impressed.

If I were the contestants I would be upset about the limited and unknown songs they have to chose from.

Of course I am still mad about Michael Johns leaving....

I have never been big fan of Dr Phil but him bailing out that attacker is over the edge. I hope the victims family sues his @ss or he is held accountable for getting that attacker out.

I know his ratings are falling drastically.....

all for the price of entertainment....makes me sick!!

I heard the other day that we could be paying over $4.00 a gallon by this summer.

Why can't our government step in and do something about this?

I don't get it....who is responsible for jacking up these prices?

The other day I was looking at old garden journal I had made years ago. I was stressing out about my crocus coming up in snow. I had went out and put coffee cans over the emerging crocus....not that they needed the protection.

Also another time a LONG time ago .... I wanted to grow woodland garden so I went to my mother in laws and dug up tons of common violets and didn't realize that it was creeping charlie growing around violets. So not only did I have violets growing EVERYWHERE I had lovely creeping charlie spreading all over. Took lots of roundup to get rid of both.

Anybody else got some good stories about early or even recent mistakes??

Easter is over and after talking with friends, family and coworkers I have to say I am really dismayed and outraged at what this world is coming to.

...the reason I say this...

A friend bought his kids a new trampoline for their Easter gift.

A coworker got her kids new cell phones for Easter.

My neighbor bought her kids new Nintendo Wii w/3 new games.

Our other neighbors decided to give their family a trip to Hawaii as their gift.

My cousin bought her kids ipods for their baskets.

And let me say....these are not wealthy people. They are normal everyday people.

Yet ...they are putting themselves in debt to buy their kids extravagent gifts over a religious holiday.

What happened to normal Easter baskets?

I got my teenage kids a package of Reece's peanut butter eggs, suckers & jolly ranchers.

They enjoyed the candy and that was that.

But after hearing about all these other expensive gifts I wonder what is this world coming to? WHAT are we teaching our kids?

March Madness is FINALLY here....who is going be skipping out to watch the games?

I know I am....can't wait!!

Who do you think the upsets will be today?

I am thinking Kansas State will get buy USC.

Also am hoping the 15-2 seed upset for tournament will be Belmont upsetting Duke....that would be so great!!

Am I the only one who thought it was terrible show.....ahhhhh....it was all so boring and I just could not watch the entire performances.

SO tired of the whole Beatles genre and not one of the contestants really performed at a "great" level.

David C. was okay. Michael was okay. Danny A was okay.

Just not entertaining!!

I really think that things in life happen for a reason.....

There are times when things are crappy it seems quotes or sayings pop up or appear to me.

Example...in 1999 my husband lost over half his hand in saw accident at work. It was a horrible time....he was in hospital long time and the day we were driving him home their was a sign in a yard that said

"Faith is the ability not to Panic"...it made me feel a lot better.

There are many other ones but my favorite is this....

I admit I watch American Idol and do post about it sometime.

But when I come here to talk about reality shows ALL you see is HUGE amount of American Idol posts.

Many being duplicate questions!!

I just wish Yahoo Answer would consider putting American Idol in seporate category under entertainment besides reality tv.

American Idol" contestant David Hernandez once entertained audiences by removing his clothes instead of singing tunes, a manager at a male strip club in Phoenix told The Associated Press.

The 24-year-old finalist from Glendale, Ariz., once worked as a stripper at Dick's Cabaret, appearing fully nude and performing lap dances for the club's "mostly male" clientele, club manager Gordy Bryan said Monday.

"He had the look and the type that people like, so he made pretty good money here," Bryan said.

It's not clear whether a history as a stripper could disqualify Hernandez from the competition. In 2003, finalist Frenchie Davis was dismissed because of her appearance on an adult Web site.

Paula could not finish a complete sentence...it was crazy watching and listening to her. It was like she was a total fruiting out.

She made zero sense and was flipping words with every performer.

I can't beleive the producers didn't bleep her out of each sequence. That was bad!

I worry it is really Latoya trying to pass herself off as Janet.

I love my daughter...I do. But there are many, many times where I just can't stand her anymore. I want to slap her, shake her and kick her in the @ss so hard and I can't. She is self absorbed, dating a drug seller and user, refuses to take responsibilty for any of her actions, lies all the time and I am at the end of the line. We have kicked her out, took away her car, shut off her phone, grounded her over and over and all for nothing.

She just don't care and I am a failure of a parent. I am slowing losing my mind and don't know what to do with her anymore.

My daughter turned 18 last month and told us that she was moving in with her b/friend and his parents...both newly parolled convicts. I told her goodbye and good luck. My husband blew his stack and tried to talk sense into her. She left and eventually my parents went and brought her home and blamed me for being bad parent.

I am at wit's end.

Anybody else having same issues with their daughters?

Any ideas how not to go insane?
