  • Could you please name this piano tune?

My anniversary is coming up very soon and I would like to surprise my wife with some sheet music. What I'm after is music for a tune that she knew when she was much younger, but can't recall what it's called or anything to identify it other than she thinks it's a contemporary asian piano piece. She played a small bit of a melody from it that I recorded and put in google docs. The link is below. If anyone could name this so that I knew what to look for, I would be incredibly grateful.

  • Fibularis or Peroneus (Peronaeus)?

So I can't find it anywhere by google, but I would like to know the reason for the difference in name. The peronius longus and the fibularis longus are the same muscle, just different name. Any reason for this? Any geographical breakdown on occurrence of term? I can't find any info on this and it's puzzling. Thank you in advance.

  • quick release mechanism?

I need to set up a device such that I have 2 ends of a large cut rubber band held together and some fishing line or something leading away from this connection. I need to make it so that tugging on the fishing line causes the immediate and quick release of the 2rubber band ends allowing whatever the rubber band is holding to fall apart. I've tried googling for any kind of small latch or release mechanism and simply haven't found anything in all the noise. Does anyone have any ideas? It only needs to hold a couple of pounds at most, so nothing large and industrial. Thank you in advance.

  • Is a contract in a foreign language upheld in US law?

My mother-in-law is Chinese and speaks very little English. She intends to lend money to a person she does small time business with and wants a promissory note so that she cover herself in court if the borrower fails to pay. The borrower also speaks very little English, so my mother-in-law wants the contract to be in Chinese.

Would a contract written in Chinese hold up in small claims court in the US? If so, does this circumstance create any problems for small claims proceedings, ie. the judge's inability to read?

Thank you in advance for any insights.

  • Can corporations go paperless billing?

My wife's mother has a small business and it's incorporated. My wife has to help her sort through all of her bills and such that she's let accumulate for a few months and it's quite a handful.

Can a corporation pay bills directly through ACH and direct debit from the business account or must there always be a physical check cut from the account so that there is a paper trail? I assume that bank statements would show all of the movement like a check would. Can she go paperless with some of her creditors and not deal with an invoice or is paper still the way to go because of tax filing and audits?

    Thank you in advance.

She wants it to be pink. Is there pinning, or such involved. I'm asking on her behalf...I really am clueless on this kind of thing. I would appreciate any help or direction I could share with her and even links. Thank you in advance.

  • Do Hillary supporters know what her nomination could do?

So there's no way for Hillary to realistically surpass Obama in the delegate count. So why do Hillary supporters think that a back room deal will be reached to allow the super delegates to vote against the regular delegate count. Even IF Obama can't win the general election, which is really hard to say since polls are tainted by a third choice in Hillary, party leaders are not going to risk selecting Hillary over the pledged delegate count. Doing this could incur a MAJOR backlash that may cause the Democratic party to split or implode altogether. Obama could just mean a defeat in November. Hillary could cause the death of the Democratic party as it currently stands. The party leaders are very aware of this and there's no way they will let this happen. That's why you have people like Pelosi and Dean urging that the race be over...AKA Hillary dropping out.

I don't get it. The only way she can get the nomination is in a fashion that could destroy the party. Why keep it up?

  • Chinese (Mandarin) word for Crane?

I'm curious if anyone can give me the Chinese (Mandarin) word for 'crane' in pinyin with the proper tone. And by crane, I mean the bird...and if there are variations, I would like to know the most graceful of them. I would greatly appreciate this in advance. Cheers :)

  • I am a cardio surgeon...?

...would you let my wife perform your triple bypass? She's never been in an OR nor any formal medical training.

Clinton's experience is head and shoulders above Obama how? Only one of them voted FOR the war in Iraq. So she's already pooched a kick.

  • Irish drinking song?

Does anyone know the name of the folk drinking song that calls for crowd participation throughout the song. It's kind of a call and answer type of song and one of the words that the crowd is supposed to holler back is "Bullsh*t." I can't remember for the life of me any of the lines except that one.

Also, anybody have a list of good Irish drinking songs that are more of the vulgar variety?

  • Late night tremors, insomnia?

I'm not sure what to call this, but for the last few weeks when I get ready to go to bed, I end up spending 2 hours trying to get to sleep. What happens is that about a dozen times a night I'll start to fall asleep and hit that moment where you are just about out and I'll jerk myself back awake. I was indeed unconscious for maybe a a few seconds to a minute, but when I regain consciousness, it feels like my pulse is beating around 180 bpm. I check my pulse on my carotid artery and it is normal. So it appears that the rapid pulsing throughout my body is possibly muscular? I need to get up and calm myself down with large slow breaths to make it stop. Repeat this process 10-12 times and then I eventually pass out after 2 hours.

I'm 26, male. 240 lbs with no major medical condition. No medications. I'm curious as to what this is because the lack of sleep is starting to affect my work and school. Does anyone have an idea what this could be?

  • US production levels and capitalism?

So if it has become hard for us to compete in the market for production, why is this? We must produce to spend, so what keeps us from being able to produce efficiently? From an absolute free market perspective, why are Americans unable to turn our very wimpy production scale into a profitable entity. If our currency depends on our ability to produce, how come we outsource it and do not retain it? I know that it may be cheaper, but if we are close to collapse, why are we unable to switch gears towards production to salvage our economy? Is it not market desired?

What is the name of the student abjugator and the entire study as a whole that showed that people would shock people in order for them to learn. One of the studies that showed the ability of normal people to conform to inhumane roles in torturing and exocuting other people.

  • What is a good starting book for Austrian School economics?

What book(s) would one recommend for someone with a general knowledge of Keynesian/neo-classical economics interested in exploring Austrian economics? I'd prefer something concept driven rather than heavily math based as simply an introductory device. Thanks in advance.

  • Manning vs. Brady?

Truly great QBs are measured by the number of rings they have.

    Marino vs. Montana

Which one has higher stats? Which one has more rings (or any for that matter). Brady will go down in the books in Montana like fashion simply because he was able to lead his team all the way, not padding stats on crap teams alone. Manning finally won the big one, but Brady is going to get his fourth and will always be considered better than Manning.

  • What will it take to implement a NCAA football playoff after the exposing of favoritism?

What will it take and how long will it be before there is a playoff implemented. I understand it's a money issue from the Presidents' point of view, but how long will people take college football seriously as it stands now? The last couple of years have seen controversy, but it was warranted controversy. The teams in question were still good. This year however, favoritism and popularity contests have really come to the surface with the USC ranking after their loss to the 40-point underdog Cardinals of Stanford. They have played a mediocre schedule to date and managed to lose to a non-contender and still stay in the top 10 while Michigan plummeted completely out of the top 25 with a single loss. To add insult to injury, this unproven USC squad is ranked ahead of teams with one quality loss or none at all. This kind of absurdity really takes ALL of the seriousness out of college football. Instead of allowing competitive kids to settle it on the field, it becomes a high school election.
