So for about 6 months, I've worked with my female coworker, and slowly we had become learning about each other. We began exchanging average conversations at the beginning, but got comfortable to the point where we can ask each other anything, and established to each other that we have open minds. Now, we get along so well, we hang out outside of work, form deep conversations, maintain trust between each other in regards to gossip (and in general) for example. We even feel comfortable drinking/eating from the same object.

Now, we are not dating, nor have we expressed sentiments toward each other. I would like opinions/insights in the sense of psychology or something like that in this situation. Any recommendations?

So, there is this girl that I see almost every day at school, and I had recently felt an urge to talk to her. The problem is that I am too shy to go up to her and introduce myself, and I I would not want to make an awkward situation and make here feel...awkward! So my question to introverted girls (because I think she is introverted by the way she acts), how and what can I do to approach her and not make a fool of myself, nor make her feel awkward? How would you feel and what would you do in a situation like this?

First, I'm not in love, but I did dream of this girl at my school. I see her at school, and she seems quiet. I don't know why, but I felt a sudden urge one day to talk to her. I have not done it. My question is: If this girl is not in any of my classes, and I see her during the bus pick-up area, what should I do to talk with her? I think it would be uncomfortable for her to be suddenly asked if she wants to talk with me. What can I do?

What is the difference between long and short a, e, i, o, and u (ü, ö, and ä also) ? Don't they sound the same in German words?

My Spanish is not the best. When it comes to speaking, at times, I'll have to stall and think by saying "esteee". My grammar is off at points too. But when it comes to chatting through text in Spanish, even though I barely use any time to think of what to say, I know I speak/text correctly. Why may this be? Anyone one else have a problem like this?

I am a native Spanish speaker who seeks help with his messed up Spanish. Grammar, vocabulary, phrases/expressions are the main things I need help with. By any chance, is there some book, preferably from Barnes and Noble, or a website where I could correct these problems? Thank you so much!

Why is the sentence correct for number 1., but not number 2.? (concentrating on verb "estar")

1. Example: Cuando las galletas esten listas, te las puedes comer.

2. Example: Cuando las galletas estan listas, te las puedes comer.

Or

(concentrating on verb "terminar")

1. Example: Cuando yo termine, voy a jugar.

2. Example: Cuando yo termino, voy a jugar.

Are there rules to help fix this? What about -ir verbs?

Example:

Someone asks "And the magazine?"

You: "What about it?"

How can you say what about it in spanish?

This chill girl I recently talked to last Friday and Monday (for the the second time in the whole year) stared a me occasionally today and Monday. When we talked, it wasn't a "perfect" conversation (there were a few pauses/awkward moments when we talked), but we got along. She really never would look at me, but before class, as she would come in, she would take a glance and also as she sat down in class. Today, she did the same, and , like I said, looked at me when I talked with someone else. Today was the last day of school, so I really can't say anything, except on facebook. What could she be thinking and what should I say? (Maybe to hang out?) AnI'm am positive she has a bf.
