Workout routine for a fighter?
I am looking for suggestions or a reference to a workout routine that a boxer, figher, mma, etc would use. I am hoping for some type of routine to add power to punches and focus a lot on my back and general core muscle areas. Also, I need to pick up weight naturally, ie: no GNC weight gainer or other crap. Anyone have good food ideas on how to pick up weight? I have an extremely fast metabolism.

3 AnswersMovies1 decade agoReally Vivid dreams while on adderall IR-15mg 1x/day?
I don't take it every day, but when I do, I have really vivid dreams. It doesn't matter if I take it at 8am or 6pm. Once I fall asleep, I have dreams that seem so real. Its never the same, but I have woken up from them before and I remember every detail. I have had some scary ones, but also good ones. All of which are extremely real. Oh and I am sure I am not sleepwalking or anything like that. Does anyone else have this effect from adderall?
2 AnswersDream Interpretation1 decade agoGreat Happy/feelgood songs?
I recently rediscovered Mr.Blue Sky, by the Electric Light Orchestra. I find this to be a great song with some true meaning that puts me in a good mood! Does anyone have any suggestions of music (avoiding the rap/hiphop genre) that is just simply feelgood music? Oh and if you don't know this song, check it out. Thanks in advance for the good vibes!
8 AnswersOther - Music1 decade agoEASY Quantitative reasoning question? Please check this.?
Fresh vegetables are 99 percent water. A large bin holding 1000 pounds of vegetables is left overnight. Because of evaporation, the vegetables the next morning are only 98 percent water. How much water evaporated?
Am I crazy, or is this a really simple problem where 99% water = 990 of the 1000lb. Therefore 10lb is vegetable weight. Then this means that 10lb is lost overnight since 1% of water content is lost. So couldn't I just convert pounds to gallons (1lb = 8.34 gal) and then just subtract the gallon values of the two water percentages?
Please let me know if you believe I am correct or not. This is how I attacked the problem, but it almost seems too easy to be correct.

1 AnswerMathematics1 decade agoOcarina of Time, How did they make the music?
I LOVE this soundtrack. It makes the game so much more amazing than it already is. However, I would love it even more if I could use whatever program they used and mess around with the songs or even create my own. What program did they use? Is it available? If not, what else could I use to make songs like it?

3 AnswersDiet & Fitness1 decade agoProclear Toric VS Purevision Toric VS night and day?
I hear proclear toric lenses are the best for dry eyes, and carry a FDA label saying they do as well. But I have seen Purevision toric lenses are popular as well. I have very dry eyes, and I currently use Biomedics55 premier lenses which dry out throughout the day. I need to switch to a better lens for dry eyes. Which one of these is better? and have any other suggestions for dry eye contacts?
1 AnswerOptical1 decade agoRemote Sensing, Basic Energy Equation E=hv=hc/λ?
This equation is known as the Basic Energy Equation, and is used to measure the energy content of photons. I am having trouble understanding how to apply this formula. If i know the frequency(v) is 40GHz(microwave), how am I supposed to solve the problem to find the energy content of a photon? All I really know is E= energy content, v=frequency, and λ(lambda)= wavelength. Thanks for helping me understand this!
1 AnswerMathematics1 decade agoShoulder injury while snowboarding..?
I was snowboarding 7 days ago, and I fell on a jump from probably about 8-10ft up going around 20mph directly onto my shoulder and head. I was knocked out for an instant, and woke up with terrible pain in my shoulder. Over the past week my condition has improved, but I am still experiencing pain in my shoulder. I have full range of motion, but i can not support much weight with that arm, and my shoulder has developed yellowish bruises around it. Before i go spending money at the doctors, i want to find out as much info as possible. please give your insight on what this could be, and if i should just wait or go to the doctor asap. thanks

15 AnswersCooking & Recipes1 decade agoWhat laptop should I get?
I need to get a laptop with the use being strictly for World of Warcraft. nothing else will be done with it. I want the laptop to run the game smoothly, but it doesn't have to be like 60fps at max gfx. maybe 20-30fps at low settings. Just go play without problems. I don't want to spend more than I have to of course. what should I go with. Also, is a cooling system necessary? because i know the fans in laptops don't keep them as cool as they should sometimes.
6 AnswersLaptops & Notebooks1 decade agoMy laptop partially melted? What should I do?
My battery got very hot, and the fans never worked very well. I got a new battery, and it ended up melting some of the housing. The video card runs hotter than the processor, and the plastic part of the motherboard that holds the video card melted partially. It is not in warranty. The computer turns on, but no screen show, just a black light. Everything else works properly. I have hooked it up to a CRT monitor and it works fine, how can I fix the screen/video card? whats wrong?

4 AnswersDo It Yourself (DIY)1 decade agoWhat can i expect to pay for a 1973 YAMAHA AT 125?
It has some minor problems, like the headlight needs to be fixed and tiny rust spots. The horn does not work, and the front brake works, but needs adjusting. It runs fine, and starts up every time. Only 3000 miles.
