  • Question about wearing the GWOTEM and ICM?

I was deployed in 2004 to Iraq before the ICM was introduced. I was also deployed 06-07.

Am I authorized to wear both the GWOTEM (for the 1st), and the ICM for the prior. And if so -- do I put service stars onto the ICM for both deployments of authorized time periods.

Or am I only allowed to wear the ICM with 2 service stars?

    Thanks in advanced.

  • How does one fit the Navy Unit Commendation on a Army uniform ribbon rack?

I know it goes above the right breast pocket along with other unit awards, but most Army unit awards have the little gold plate around them. Do I put a gold plate around it...or do I just wear it as is?

    Thanks in advanced.

  • Primary/Secondary MOS, and ROTC?

My main goal is to join ROTC (Army).

However, I am prior service (4 years active) as a 56M (Chaplain Assistant). A few months ago I joined the Army Reserves as a 62B (91L - Construction Equipment Repairer), but am not required to attend the training for up to 2 years (and, officially only have 23 months left on my 8 year contract).

My question is will I still be able to join ROTC with two MOS qualifications? I ask this because the Army will have trained me as a Chaplain Assistant, and also forked over the money to train me as a mechanic. With no real intention of being a mechanic. And would further pay for the various ROTC/Officer training. I don't mind fighting to not goto the training course if it would prevent me from joining ROTC.

If it wouldn't be an issue I would attend the mechanic training simply because it wouldn't be bad to know some of the stuff, and would be beneficial to me overall. I just don't want to be screwed in the end of my main career goals.

I have one more semester before I transfer to a state university with an ROTC program.

    Any advise would be helpful.
