As a Liberal and a Packer's fan, I'm ok with the Minnesota Vikings cutting Chris Kluwe for his activism, as they are a PRIVATE entity that has all the rights to fire an employee for discussing words that go against what they feel should represent their organization.

So, many Conservatives are pro-traditional marriage and anti-gun control. I find this odd, but only because of their rationale.

For traditional marriage the argument is on religious grounds. The Bible is against it, therefore we should also be against it. Of course using the Bible for justification of laws is unconstitutional due to the 1st Amendment.

For gun control, they cite the 2nd Amendment as their reasoning for their position. However, the Bible says, "Then Jesus said unto him, 'Put your sword back into its place. For all who take the sword will perish by the sword. (Matthew 26:52)'"

So, basically, on one side they're using the Bible against the constitution (traditional marriage) and on the other they're using the constitution against the teachings of Christ (gun control)

Just something that occurred to me the other day.

Because, as I see it, it's more of an ethical issue. One side is claiming that killing in self-defense was warranted, the other says it wasn't. Where's the political issue here?

And where was this outrage when a similar situation occurred Karachi Pakistan in 2002? Or Uzbekistan in 2004? Jidda, Saudi Arabia in 2004? Damascus, Syria in 2006? Athens, Greece in 2007? Belgrade, Serbia in 2008? Sana, Yemen in 2008?

And yet Republicans are against the spending of money we don't have. Ironic...

-People who claim that Obama won in 2008 because he's black.

-People who won't vote for Mitt Romney simply because he's Mormon.

-Fox News, specifically that Gretchen woman...

-People who repeat what they've heard and pretend that they know what they're talking about.

-Undecided voters in Ohio, Colorado, Virginia, or Florida.

-All news stations that judged the debates not on substance, but on how it was presented.

-Donald Trump. Dude, you're just making yourself look dumb. If you want to seem legit, make that same offer you made to Obama to Romney, only with his taxes. Bam! Legit.

-Single-issue voters. Almost worse than undecideds. Pro-choice or pro-same sex marriage isn't a political affiliation people!

-G.O.P. rape mentioners. I mean, why even talk about it?

-People still writing in Ron Paul's name. There's a guy by the name of Gary Johnson running under the same policies. Vote for him instead.

Why do some consider America to be a Christian Nation? Don't we have the First Amendment and separation of church and state for a reason.

That's rather stupid, don't you think? You really would prefer to have a turd behind the desk in the Oval Office than Barack Obama? To put this into perspective, I'd rather Mitt Romney win than, say, a can. At least Obama (or Romney in my situation) could attempt to do something.

Why? What did they have to gain from that statement?

I mean, you're voting to repeal Obamacare, which doesn't matter because President Obama will just veto the repeal if it passed. Glad to see that there is nothing else more important than attempting to repeal the unrepealable.

When they seemingly get all their news from the extremely biased Fox News? Because the "Liberal Media" just doesn't present everything. Fox News blatantly attacks the left every chance they get.

Because, honestly, I feel that an 8 team (6 BCS conf. champs get in plus 2) or even a 16 team (where all conf. champs get in... but I feel like 8 works better) would provide more entertainment and give the non-BCS teams a more likely chance of proving themselves (although, I guess Boise State, Houston, BYU, Utah, and TCU are all going to be independents or BCS teams now, so maybe they don't need representation anymore...)
