As the title states, my 60lb Airedale Terrier-mix got into a box from See's Candies titled "Famous Old Time", which contains Milk and Dark Chocolates mainly, but is also assorted chocolates, which has a net weight of 16 ounces (according to the box).

What are the necessary steps to make sure he is okay (as it is Christmas Eve), and what are some signs I should watch for?

I have uploaded approximately 15 videos before, all in the .mp4 format. I have never had an issue with uploading, and the longest I have had a video take to upload is 2 hours or so for a 15 minute video (about 1.5 GB).

Today, I have tried 3 separate times to upload a 43 minute long video (only 2.6 GB) in the .wmv format. The YouTube uploader states that I have "7140 minutes remaining" on my download, which I find incredibly difficult to believe. I checked my internet speed at www.speedtest.net , which stated that my Ping is 11ms, my download speed is 30mbps, and my upload speed is roughly 6mbps, which is normal speeds and I know that it is a very good internet speed.

If you know what is causing this horrible issue please tell me. Thank you in advance

I am almost done with my part list, but I have came to a crossroad. I am going to go with either the Corsair Carbide Series 300R Windowed ATX Mid Tower Case or the LIAN LI Lancool PC-K62 Black 0.8 mm SECC, Plastic + Mesh ATX Mid Tower Computer Case. In the Lancool case, there is a 120mm back fan that I can take out and put the Corsair H60 in, but I am wondering which case is better for my parts (http://pcpartpicker.com/p/lEqX), and which CPU cooler to go with between the two in the title.

Any help and insight would be greatly appreciated

Please do NOT tell me to get things that are more expensive, I am trying to cut cost as much as possible without sacrificing performance right now.

To give you a little insight, I will be using my computer mainly for gaming (a duh for the parts I have chosen), video recording and editing (why I chose the i7-3770 instead of the i5-3570k), article and story writing, programming, 3D-modeling, and homework (high school student).

Please please please do NOT tell me that 16GB of RAM is too much as I will be using this for intense multi-tasking (how else are you supposed to get things done in high school :P) and video editing. Also, this is the most amount of money (roughly) that I will be willing to spend on a system, so please don't say "oh, you have a slightly big budget so just get a i7-3770k and a NVIDIA GTX 690".

I already have a Xbox 360 and a Wii. I am wondering if there is enough reason to build a gaming computer. I am 13, so my father and I would be splitting the cost. My friend and I already figured out an extremely good computer from scratch (quad-core i7 bloomfield, 16 GB of RAM, NVIDIA GeForce GTX 660 TI), and it cost (with shipping and tax) roughly 1400.

I guess what I am asking is, is there enough of a reason to get it? My entire family (my dad, my sister, and myself) would game and other stuff on it. We plan to be playing Borderlands 2, Skyrim, Planetside 2, WoW, Diablo 3, Minecraft, Witcher 2, and other games on it.

If you can, please write a fairly long reason convincing me to build one or to just stay with what I have. I am currently in discussion with my father about this and we are both pondering this question, so any help would be greatly appreciated.

I know it's only $27, but I have heard that most people like it, but I don't want it to suck up all my time. And does it have a campaign mode or is it all free mode? I know people for servers but I love playing campaign to just experience stories. Thanks

I have Skyrim on my 3 year old Toshiba Satellite with an ATI Radeon 3100 Graphics card. The game is on low setting, yet it still lags. I have 3 gb of RAM, and my graphics card is upgraded to the newest version(summer 09). Is there anything I can do to improve my framerate/lag?

I have had a $300 toshiba satellite for almost 3 years now, and I notice that I can't play games like Skyrim or Kingdoms of Amalur on it without huge lag issues. I want a laptop that will support these games easily, not have a tiny screen, be under 1k, and not just be a gaming laptop as I am going into high school so I will need it for school. I have looked at a macbook pro, but it is too expensive and I would have to use bootcamp to run the things I need to, so why not just get a pc. I would also like to keep the heat and noise from the fan down, but with a good battery life and good sound. Any good laptops that fit my description? Thanks

I am a beginning programmer, so I was making a simple program(my first) when I ran into a little snag. My program is designed to help with some simple math for paying your children for chores. My input data(how many weeks they have been doing it and what their wages per week are) are multiplied to be outputted to the user. The program runs find unless you put in a decimal. My almost 3 year old, $300 laptop is nearing the end of the road; I can do anything fine normally, but frequent blue-screens and the inability to run my games(Skyrim, Reckoning) without lag has forced me to this. But i face the dilemma of which laptop? I like Macs and I would like a Air or Pro, but I don't know which one to buy and I can't justify the thinking of getting a Mac when I will just be using a Windows system on it most of the time. Is there a PC that is cheaper and better, or which Mac if there is none?
