  • Lib/Conservative bashers: What do you consider to be the common good we are working for?

We all have our differences. Rather than spend your time running around the questions bashing on a liberal or conservative every chance you get, how about we all simply sit back and talk about what we want as a people. Rather than look at what we dont want, lets look at what we really truely want for ourselves, and our families for a moment. Truth be told, we are all working for a fairly common goal. There are many paths to get there, but they all work in the end. So what do we want as a whole? Would it be worth it to compromise some for the good of all? Or is it better to take a more selfish stance and screw everyone else? Can't we all just get along??? ;)

  • Do you enter the politics section for...?

How many of you enter the politics section simply to thumb down anyone and/or everyone?

I get a lot of humor out of this.

    :)

  • Which would you prefer? Fascist or Communist?

It appears that there are a lot of extremists answering questions on here this evening. Thought I would ask. Which would you all prefer? A fascist regime or a communist regime? Obviously we will not get either of them, regardless of what you all think. But which would you prefer if you had to choose? Why?

  • How is Socialism communism?

I always enjoy people who equate socialism with communism. According to these... uneducated people... Canada, France, Britian, Scandinavian countries, etc. are all communist if we follow their definition. Why must these people blatantly refute anything that is socialized? Many social programs are great! They are helpful answers to people who are in need, although they do get taken advantage of far more than they should.

I can atleast give credit to those people who claim that socialism is one step close to communism, as, in theory, it probably is... but I disagree that it will actually lead to communism.

I know the differences between something socialized, and communism. What does everyone else think? Be sure to justify your answers with more than just an opinion.. such as.. sources? Points go to those who use RELIABLE sources. :)

  • What would you pay for a 2004 Suzuki gsxr 600?

I am really looking for legitimate answers. What do you all think a 2004 gsxr 600 is worth? Dont take season or upgrades into consideration. Let's pretend it is bone stock and your typical model. If you would never buy a gsxr, dont bother answering. Obviously, I could take kbb and NADA into consideration, but goods are only worth what someone is willing to pay for them.

Now, what would you pay if it had the following: Puig Double bubble, sliders, billet stator cover, power commander, full Yoshi tsr carbon exhaust, new tires and chain, sprocket upgrade, and only 3100 miles on a new engine? Zero problems.

  • 2004 Suzuki GSXR 600 headlight?

Dumb question, but I am curious, and dont really want to buy a manual just to answer my question. The lower headlight on these gsxr's.. it looks almost like a magnifying lens or something. I am not sure if that bulb is burned out or not and am too lazy to go pull it to see right now. So, being that this is the first gsxr i've owned, to make sure... is this indeed a headlight? If so, does it come on with the low or high beams or is there some special trick to it? If there isnt, then mine is definately burned out (came that way when I got the bike). Just curious. Thanks!

  • Need help diagnosing an engine 'tick' in 2004 Suzuki GSXR 600.?

Engine was completely rebuilt 300 miles ago. It now has a ticking noise that starts at around 3,500rpm and goes up from there. I am thinking the shop screwed up, but they are not willing to honor their work since it has been over a year since the work was done, which makes sense. It just sucks. I took the valve cover off and checked the lash and tensioners. They are perfect. My thought is wrist pin. Anyone have any other ideas for me to possibly check before tearing too far into the engine?
