  • I'm almost eighteen and not sure what to do? HELP!?

I'm seventeen (will be eighteen on May 7th, 2014) and I am clueless on what to do! My parents expect me to become independent and to have my own place by the time my birthday comes around and it's not that I blame them because I would like to have my own place as well too, it's just that I'm not ready! I know it's not my parents job to do everything for me, but I have wasted so much time that I will not even be able to move out on my own without being homeless! I'm in the twelfth grade and I want to go to college but my ACT score is not good enough to get in (I got a seventeen, you need the minimum of eighteen to get accepted) and I only scored low because I SUCK at math, and failing the math section lowered my score. I am trying my hardest to stay focused but I'm always going off track and I feel as if I can't score well at all on the test, therefore I won't get into college and I'll be down on my luck, failing to earn the degrees I want, thus not obtaining the career I want. I don't want to depend on my parents my whole life and they're not going to be here forever whenever I need them. I don't even have a job, and have no idea where to start looking for positions. Any ideas or answers, how to solve this so that I can be prepared by the time my eighteenth birthday comes around?
