  • Back/ Hip Pain; Figure Skating?

    Hi fellow skaters.

The other day while going through my program I went to go into my flip and it felt like I was going to land until went tumbling down. I landed on my left side (or so I think) and banged my elbow. I have a bruise on my left elbow. But last night I started to get a dull ache in my lower back.

I woke up this morning to have that pain intensified and it kept getting worse throughout the day. It's now in my lower back on the right side and all around the right side of my hip. I can't bend or lift up the leg, bend over, or twist to one side or the other. My mom says she sees not bruising or swelling. I hear that sprains and fractures are common in the back for figure skaters though. The pain is very sharp when I do one of those things but sitting around it's maybe a 6. It hurts enough for me to notice and not be able to focus on something completely.

I have used heat packs and taken ibuprofen already but neither are seeming to help. It's hard to walk a little and I have to put all my weight on my left side (which is in the 5th month recovering from almost dislocating my kneecap all the way; patellar subluxation. I'm allowed to skate though and do all jumps but limited on axel drills. I have had no problems in the past month with flips).

Anyone know what might be wrong or how to relieve pain?

P.S. I also have club pictures and freestyle ice tomorrow which is kinda hard to go to the doc (not to mention it's sunday) and I have to be able to stand up straight, which is starting to be harder.

  • How do you separate audio in the same video?

I recently was at a concert and I don't have a really nice camera so when I video taped the band singing it also picked up on me singing at certain points.

Is there a program where I can separate all the different audios of the video(i.e. drums, fans, lead singer etc.) so that I can delete my singing out of it?

I would either need it to be something computers already have or just a trial of something!

    Thanks (:

  • Revolutionary War and Spies?

Okay so I know the important Culper spies but I need an intriguing story about it. I need something with a rising action, climax, and falling action to write out in a script, I'd prefer it be something not terribly long but something I could find easily

  • What is the background music in this?

Okay so I found this one amazing skating video on Sasha Cohen and I can't figure out the background music. The uploader didn't say what it was called and hasn't answered the questions yet.

  • What high school classes would you take to become a deaf educator?

Well this year we are going to have to be doing a career class and I want to become a Deaf Educator. I don't know if we have an ASL class but to be an elementary school teacher would you just take the basic classes in high school?

  • In glee what did Dianna Agron use to look pregnant?

In Glee Dianna's character Quinn becomes pregnant with Puck's baby. Well we all know Dianna did not get pregnant for the role. So did she use one of the pad's on her stomach like Terri did in glee? To make the illusion she was pregnant..
