Please Explain Bullet-Drop?
I understand what happens to a bullet after it leaves the muzzle. What I don't understand is, when I put info into a bullet drop calculator, why does the graph and info-table show a - [minus] number [-1.4857] at 0 feet, then at 50 yds, the table shows [0.0657] then after 100yds the table shows another drop number [-1.587]??
All the numbers I have given are examples but, it 'looks' like, from the numbers, that the bullet drops, rises, then drops again. I know this isn't possible, it's that I don't understand how to read the tables. Can anyone help to explain the table info?
Thanks.
