Lush Caca Marron henna - should it not be mixed and left until it turns brownish before applying?
Plenty of henna "experts" insist on any henna based hair dyes to be mixed with water and left to ferment until it turns brownish before applying for great results. This makes sense as henna by nature needs to ferment to release its full potential. I have bought Lush's Caca Marron henna hair dye in a block and the instructions say to mix with hot water until it looks like double cream or yoghurt, and apply immediately to hair leaving it for just 2 hours? The timing again is also not the same or similar to other henna "experts" recommendation.
Perhaps Lush henna dye works if mixed and used instantly and left on for just 2 hours?
Perhaps it would work a lot better (ie better deeper colour results) if it was left to ferment to a brown colour and then applied and left on for longer than 2 hours?
In India, where henna is used extensively for hair dyeing, users sleep with it on their hair overnight to get deep colour results.
Any advice here would be much appreciated.
2 AnswersHair8 years agoHow do I work out what price to sell after varying postage costs?
Let's presume the following scenario:
~~~~~~~~~~~~
Item costs = £1-48
Buyer will need to pay postage to UK of = £2.10 (if buyer is from UK)
or
Buyer will need to pay postage to USA of = £6.44 (if buyer is from USA)
Hoping to make profit of = £2.00
The following fees are payable on the total price I sell at = 3.4% fees + £0.20
~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Question: How much should I sell the item for?
PS: I can only have 1 price to sell this item at to UK buyers and the same price to USA buyers. Of course, because postage to USA is far higher than postage to UK, the fees payable on the final item will be different as the fees are calculated on the final price.
Thanks for any help.
