  • Izzy Dix have you read her poem?

Izzy Dix (Isabella Brefni Dix) died due to being bullied at school, she was a victim and lost her life to suicide on September 17th 2013 at Brixham, Devon the bullies were at her school (also in Brixham) at Brixham Community College, in the town, Izzy suffered so much torment and hate that she wrote this poem as a warning and as last note:

    Apex

I Give Up by Izzy Dix

    I arrive,

    Happy and fresh,

    Ready and excited

    To celebrate the goodness.

I am eager and keen to have a good time.

As I smile from the bubbles of anticipation whizzing around my stomach,

I begin to see the crowd,

    I see more people,

    Many are happy and joyful.

    They're there like me,

    To celebrate,

I smile at them and say hello to the many faces I see,

They look shocked and surprised to see me,

I question their judgmental glares as I wonder,

    'What have I done wrong?'

I see their drinks swilling in their fingers as their backs begin to face

    me.

I try to edge my way back into the circle of giggles and talking,

    They push me away.

    I stand still,

    My eyes glazed and absent.

    Suddenly they call me over,

I think, 'yes! They've noticed me!'

    But then it begins,

    They start to ask questions,

As to why I am there.

They begin to tell me that nobody wants me there,

They tell me to leave and that I am not wanted,

    Not there, not anywhere,

    My heart,

    My head,

    My body,

    Numb.

I feel pricks of stinging begin to pinch my eyes as cheeks begin to burn.

    'Don't let them see you,

Don't show them that you're weakened,

    Weakened by their remarks',

    'Stay strong' I think,

    But it's too late,

    My palms, clammy,

    My cheeks, streaming,

    My neck, sweating.

I walk quickly away from the chanting and laughing,

    My vision, spinning,

    My heart, beginning to break.

    I look down and walk,

My eyes drowning in a sea of emotion.

Another piece of me chiselled away by their cruel remarks and perceptions,

    I give up.

  • Izzy Dix do remember her?

Izzy Dix wrote a poem before the events of September 17th 2013 she had gone to a local music festival and was attacked by thugs and losers from the local area of Brixham, The poem clearly shows what Isabella was facing on an almost every day, before she went to the music festival at Brixham (which triggered the events on September 17th) and after the events where she was attacked in a shop this is Izzy calling out for help asking does anyone remember me?

As her friends called her, Izzy as her name is really Isabella, the poem, showing just how far the bullies had gone and that she knew who they were and she tried so hard to complain to the school, (Brixham Community College) and how she felt on a daily basis the fear and torment she had to endure every day at that school in her own chilling words you see everything she felt, everything she feared, and what was done to her by those that are living and no doubt still tormenting Izzy, after the twisted sick campaign of torment and torture that they carried out where Izzy is concerned. Brixham College (as it likes to be known) has released no statement, has not commented or really exposed the level and amount of bullying that is 'rife,' which is said by Izzy's friends, yet after all that has happened the school has remained silent, this puts into question the effect and dangers of Academy status schools, free schools, and those that are registered charities they are not effective and lack any real control or ability to have any control of bullies or the families of bullies or the demographic danger of the long known danger of yobs in the school yard.

Isabella Brefni Dix or 'Izzy' to her friends was a girl that was smart clever and really a star, her life was cheated out of her by mindless thugs, her legacy lives on and her mum Gabrielle is heart broke and lost as to what to do to bring justice for Izzy the many supposed Face book pages set up do little to help Gabrielle or the memory of Izzy, and the on line petition lacks focus and is being led by business minded Maddie Sinclair, Izzy deserves justice and the truth being known not some on line weak support pages that clearly hardly anyone reads or has any interest in Izzy was a person we ask where are all her friends now? the girl lived, she remains an un-quiet spirit waiting for her turn to gain justice from those that attacked her in school in her home in her ever decreasing public life.
