  • First job interview lasted for 4 minutes?

The job I applied for was as a CNA. My class did our clinicals in the same nursing home I applied at, and on our last day at the nursing home, they interviewed me, asking what shift I want and what days, and when do I want to start. They told me to fill up an application form online and they'd call me back for another interview (which was the one today).

I thought that the interview would last for about 10-15 minutes, but it only lasted for 4 minutes, but the interviewer only asked me how long I've been a CNA for and why do I want to work as a CNA and explained to me the starting wages and told me that there is an orientation (not just for me, but for everyone who's applying) and to keep my thursday open and that she'd call me back today or on monday.

I'm kind of worried because this is my first job interview ever, and I'm not sure if the reason why the interview only lasted for 4 minutes is because I made a bad impression, even though I was presentable and was on time, or the two questions she asked me was enough.

Do you guys think I bombed it or do you think I still have a chance on being hired?

    Thank you!

  • AP and IB credit scores?

I'm not from US so I'm confused with these two. I know that AP is for advanced placement but is it for high school students? I'm planning on going to a medical school and one of their requirements for admission are AP and IB credits. So, I know this may sound stupid but what are AP and IB? And if possible, where can I take them? Once I got here in US, I took GED and I am now currently in a community college. Thanks

  • Thighs burn while doing stationary bike?

I start with 5-10 minutes of warm up and then increase the gear. I'm only a beginner so my max is only 2 gears and go about 80 rpm. When I increase the gear, after only a few minutes, my thighs start to burn. There are days when I can take the burn but some, like today, I can't take the burn that I had to stop. Every time my thighs burn, I try to correct my posture or slow my pedaling down but it only relieves the burn for a few seconds. Am I doing something wrong? Thank you!

  • first date. I need advise?

Okay, so it's going to be my first date ever on Friday and here's the story:

I met this guy on my jogging class 6 months ago and at first he really seemed like a nice guy but then he started saying things that I did not like (I'm not gonna elaborate any further). And then yesterday, he asked if we could do something before summer ends and we kinda agreed to go to the mall together. At first I was really ecstatic because this is the first time in my 17 years of life that someone asked me out but I've thought about it for hours before saying yes. And then, after I had a day to think about it, I started to get really nervous and right now, I'm contemplating on just texting him to cancel our date. I'm not sure if I'm just getting cold feet or if my gut is telling me that this is a bad idea. I don't really have anyone to talk this so I'm kinda seeking advise. Should I trust my gut or give this date a chance? Thanks

  • will i gain weight if i stop drinking caffeine?

It's not exactly coffee, but it's a pill with lots of caffeine in it. I took it for about 3 weeks and stopped yesterday. I have headache because of caffeine withdrawal. I've heard that some people gained weight when they stopped drinking weight so I'm a little concerned. As for those who stopped drinking/taking caffeine and gained weight, how much weight did you gain and did you lose it? I do indoor cycling, so will I still gain weight? Thank you!

  • When is the best time to shadow an OBGYN or CRNA?

I'm still taking prerequisites for BSN and I'm not sure which one I should choose between OBGYN and CRNA so I want to shadow one. Is it okay to shadow them even though I'm only taking prerequisites for BSN and 17 years old? or should I wait until I'm a year in the nursing (not the prerequisites) or should I wait until I'm almost done with nursing? Should I wait until I'm in a med school? Or can I do it now even thoug I'm still working on my prerequisites? Thank you!

  • Help with understanding proximal and distal?

I'm really confused with these two. I know that proximal is closer to the origin of the body while distal is farther.

For example, the elbow is proximal to the wrist but distal to the shoulder. I tried the anatomical position but as far as i understand, both the wrist and shoulder are proximal to the elbow. And how is the knee distal to the thigh?

Please help. I'm so confused. Thank you!

    NaCl

    C6H8O7

  • why do the chloroplasts clump together in the center of the cell when you use 20% sucrose instead of water?

what tonicity do plant and animal cells prefer?

i know a little about tonicity but I don't understand why the choloroplasts are clumped together beside the cell wall if you use pure water but when i used 20% sucrose, the cells are clumped together in the center and the cell kinda shrank. Is this because of hypotonic?

  • is this equation right?

the question is about adding rational expressions:

    x^2-2 / 4x^2-11x-3 + 3x+5x^2 / 4x^2-11x-3

    = x^2-2+3x+5x^2 / 4x^2-11x-3

    = -4x^2+12x / (4x+1) (x-3)

    = -4x(x-3) / (4x+1) (x-3)

    = -4x / 4x+1

is my answer correct or wrong? if not, what is the right answer?

  • good cream for hyperpigmentation?

I have pimple scars on my back and hyperpigmentation on my arms and legs because of the allergies that I had when I was young. My complexion started to lighten so my hyperpigmentation started to lighten too but are now much more noticeable. I was wondering which body creams are the best to lighten my hyperpigmentation? I tried looking at ebay but all I found were products for the face.
