what is the advantage of curling hair with a flat iron/straightener instead of a curling iron? or conversely, what is the advantage of using a curling iron instead of a flat iron to curl hair?

please don't tell me to try pandora or tastekid because i already have. i'm looking for songs that are as emotionally charged as represent by the red jumpsuit apparatus.. anything powerful without being too overly sentimental. more modern songs would be great.

What are some good songs to play at a party? Please don't give me the usual stuff (Party in the USA, Break Your Heart, Ke$ha, Rihanna, etc). My friends and I are into alt rock (Breaking Benjamin, Three Days Grace, Muse) and indie rock/alt pop (The Script, The Killers, Guster), but none of that music is really good for parties. Can you think of any songs that are upbeat enough for a party, but a little bit edgier than, say, Miley Cyrus?
