Just bought this thing. I like it but a little more speed can't hurt. Also looking into upgrading to 8gb of ram. Looking at this solid state drive: http://www.amazon.com/OCZ-Industrys-Performance-2-... .. To format this I believe I need a external enclosure anyway. So this brings up the question, can I use the 500gb drive as an external drive after I have the SSD in my laptop?

I am building up a fixed/singlespeed wheelset. I have decided on formula hubs front and rear, the hubs have high flanges and cutouts. For the rear I am going 32h, could I use a 2.0/1.5/2.0 double butted spoke or would you recommend a 2.0/1.8/2.0 spoke. For the front my choices are 24 spoke. or 32 spoke and I have the same spoke choice. Also, please offer your opinions on dt comp vs. Dt revo vs. Sapim race vs. Sapim laser.

For rims I cannot decide between the kinlin xr270 and the velocity a23. The velocity wheel is 3mm wider than a regular wheel to give a tubular like shape to the clincher tire. The kinlin is a semi deep section wheel, but it is also light. The velocity rim is 430 grams claimed, and the xr270 is about 455 grams.

I was thinking a s14 e30 M3 engine would be good, but those are hard to find, and really expensive.

Would a Subaru WRX engine fit without heavy modification? Any other engine suggestions?
