I charged my Galaxy 3 Tablet with an iPod charger overnight and now the tablet is kaput. Won't boot up. Is it because I used the wrong type of charger?

I'd like to do some sheep rustling downunder like Alligator Dundee. Does it take long to learn how and do they bite?

When I'm playing online shooters, I notice that Americans find my accent either fascinating or hilarious. (I'm English and live in London).

This goes for any other accent they hear from anywhere else in the world.

Some people start trying to mimic the accents, either for fun or in an attempt to mock the person speaking. It doesn't bother me - after all, I speak with an accent in the country where the English language originated. I also don't find foreign accents amusing or something to be mocked.

I find that only Americans have this over-the-top reaction (whether positive or negative). It seems slightly backward to me, like an 18th Century explorer seeing a kangaroo for the first time.

Does anyone know why?

Ok so I play xbox 360 online, and never accept friend requests as I prefer to just do my own thing. But the other day I accepted 3 FR's from some ok people, but then I hated the obligation to play with/talk to them. It's ruined my enjoyment of the game.

But if I just unfriend them, they will know. So how do I go totally anonymous again? Change my gamertag, avatar, bio information etc? Is that enough?

Plus I'd have to not speak as they will recognise my voice.

And what do you do when people say "hey I sent you a FR"? I mean, I'm happy to be friendly, but I don't want to be your friend as such lol.

At this rate I'll have to buy a PS3 and start over. Gutted.

Trying to fit an extractor fan with timer but I only have permanent live and neutral. How do I link the permanent live and switched live connectors so the thing works?

I have tried using each one with the live but it doesn't work.

I'm fitting a new extractor fan in the kitchen. The old one didn't have a timer, the new one does. So I've turned off the leccy (obviously), dismantled the old extractor and can see this:

The 3 wires coming from the ceiling are: RED, BLACK and YELLOW/GREEN. The yellow/green one wasn't attached to the old fan.

The new extractor has 3 inputs requiring: PERMANENT LIVE, NEUTRAL and SWITCHED LIVE.

Please can someone tell me which wire goes into which terminal?!?!?

Today is June 7th. My car MOT expires on October 22nd. Can I get my car MOT'd today or do I have to wait until 4 weeks before the expiry date?

I know that I can take my car for an MOT up to a month before the expiry date and still preserve the original date.

But I am thinking of selling the car soon and would like to put a new MOT on it.

National Tyres refused to do an MOT for me because they said I had to wait until October. I think they are wrong. Are they?

It's common knowledge that the great continent of Australia is trapped in a time-warp as a result of the lag at the bottom of the planet. But do they have stuff like color tv and shows that we have in the USA like Home and Away?

If I copy text from within an email (Hotmail or gmail), I cannot then paste it into word. A box comes up and says "A problem caused the programme to stop working" and then it closes.

I can copy and paste within emails, I can copy and paste from word to email, but not vice versa.

Any ideas?

All these new FPS games have that nasty head bob effect that makes a lot of people (me included) feel sick. Games like Battlefield Bad Company 1 and 2, COD MW etc etc. Yes yes I know it's "realistic" but coz my real body is not moving too, it confuses my brain and causes nausea.

I was ok on Battlefield 2 Modern Combat coz the only thing that bobbed was the weapon, not the whole screen, but that game is 5 years old now.

I hear on MAG u have the option to turn it off, but I don't have a PS3.

Does anyone play Halo Reach? Does that have head bob? Can you turn it off if you want to?

Or any other FPS games that either don't have head bob or the option to turn it off??

me and my brother are thinking of going to croatia in june this year. we are looking for somewhere with lots of nice beaches, so we can rent mopeds and scoot about, visiting beaches and villages/towns along the coast.

somewhere with good places to eat also, and maybe a bit of nightlife but thats not the biggest requirement.

and if its with in 45 minutes of the airport even better :-)
