I have a p6330f HP desktop with a 300w PSU. I want to upgrade from my current GT 430. The new GTX 650 Ti is looking pretty good right now, especially with that Assassin's Creed 3 promo code.

So anyway, will it work on my 300w PSU. Or will I have to upgrade?

Also, do you have any suggestions on other GPU's if you think this is a bad deal.

What is the most powerful graphics card that I could get which my processor wouldn't bottleneck?

Hey guys, I want to upgrade my graphics card for my HP p6330f desktop, but first I need to upgrade my power supply, because the stock is only 300w. Can anyone suggest a good PSU that would fit in my desktop?

I am getting a new graphics card, the HD 7770 for my HP p6330f desktop. However, it only has a 300w PSU. Will the PSU be able to cope with the new card? I've seen a some posts on forums saying it should be fine, or their PSU + HD 7770 combo works fine. What do you think?

I have had my p6330f pc for about 2-3 years now and I am pretty happy with it. Last year I decided that I wanted to play Assassin's Creed Brotherhood, so I upgraded the built in graphics card to a GT 430, which I bought for $50. The game ran decent enough: 20 - 30 fps on low settings, full 1050 resolution. Then, later I bought Battlefield 3, and was less happy with its performance, as I had to lower the resolution from full to get a decent frame rate. The same happened when I purchased Alan Wake (surprisingly for me).

Now I am looking towards the future, and I know that I want to play Dishonored and ACIII and Far Cry 3 and plenty of other games when they are coming out, but I know my pc, alas, won't be able to handle those games well, if at all. I know that if I want to play those games (and others in the future), I am either going to have to upgrade my pc, or I shall buy myself a ps3 and hook it up to my monitor to play games.

Any suggestions or tips on how I could improve my computer's performance without spending alot? Either that or the ps3.

Hi guys I have a Samsung Syncmaster T220 desktop monitor that I hope to use for playing ps3 games if I buy a ps3. My question is, how does it look at 720 and 1080 resolutions, for those that use a monitor for your ps3. I ask this because my T220 only supports up to 1050 resolution.

How do your games look on a desktop monitor?

I want to buy a ps3 and use my T220 samsung monitor and play in 1080 resolution. Is it compatible for 1080p?

I currently own a budget pc with a dualcore i3 processor and a GT 430 card that I bought for it. I can run games like Assassin's Creed Brotherhood with a decent fps at low settings with full resolution, or Battlefield 3 on low settings at 1600x900. I have a nice monitor to go with the computer too.

The point is, I want to play the games that are coming out soon, such as AC3 and Far Cry 3, but I know my computer won't be able to handle it. So I have to either upgrade my pc buy a console. If I were to buy a console, I would buy the ps3 because I would want to play The Last of Us.

But which choice would be better for my budget? I am leaving for college next year and not bringing my computer.I also heard a new ps3 might come out soon too.

I was incidentally on Yahoo on my desktop when a message popped up on my screen that said there was a syntax error. I was not sure what it was but I clicked ok, and then my computer shut down unexpectedly. So it restarted, but when I tried to load up any programs, nothing works. I tried to do a system restore but that did not help at all. How could I fix this problem?

I'm looking into a bunch of universities in Cali right now such as UCSB, UC Santa Cruz, UCLA, USC, etc. I'm wondering which school is located to the best/most consistent surf in California? I may be expecting a lot because here on Oahu we usually have great surf all year, but still.
