Help! I just bought an SSD and installed windows and when it rebooted, my monitor wont display?
I just bought a brand new Crucial 60gb SSD, installed it into my computer, and installed windows on it. I left it for about 30 minutes to install windows and when I came back, my monitor was black. I checked all the cables and such but still no luck.
I rebooted and STILL no luck.
Should I leave it for a while running, like is it still installing?
PLEASE help, I don't know what to do from this point.
1 AnswerMonitors9 years agoMy neighbor's dog whines and barks ALL day?
From about 6 in the morning to 10 at night, my neighbor's german shorthair sits by the fence across from my room whining and barking.
I try to say "shh" or "Shutup" every once in a while but it just keeps on howling.
I'm pretty sure that when you live in a neighborhood there are neighborhood rules/county/city rules that prohibit this.
I don't want their dog to be taken away and I don't want them to hate me, as they are the new people in the neighborhood, I just want them to control it!
Many of us have talked to them before, and they control it for about a day then it's just right back to its old habits.
If you have any suggestions please let me know. I don't know how much longer I can take this before I take the matter into my own hands.
11 AnswersDogs9 years agoProblems with dual monitors not displaying at certain times.?
I have a fairly new computer with a graphics card built into the GPU and I recently installed a new NVIDIA GT430 graphics card. I have a TV hooked up via HDMI and a monitor hooked up via VGA. Normally, When I turn on my computer, the starting windows screen goes onto the TV (not identified as my main monitor) then when it goes to the screen where I type in my password to log in, it switches to the main monitor.
This is normal.
But maybe 1/3-5 times when I turn on the computer it will not display the monitor(s). I can usually force shutdown the computer (I know this is not good for it) and reboot it 1-3 times and it will finally work.
What I am trying to figure out is how can I stop this from happening?
One thing I might try is to disable the original integrated GPU Graphics card, but I'm not sure if that will help/fix it.

3 AnswersMonitors9 years agoWhy do The music icon and video icon stay default on my ipod touch when I put a theme on?
Almost every single winterboard theme I use, the music, videos, facetime, game center, reminders, and photos icons are default, when I KNOW they are included in the theme. Is there a way to fix this?
