  • Another false Walmart shoplifting ordeal?

My cousin and i went to walmart in a different town while waiting to get in touch with a friend. To kill time we walked around wally world. we went to the phone section and he picked up a otterbox and showed it to me asking if i thought it was cool. i looked at it for a second and then we both went on about our business. we walked around killing time. before leaving he went to the bathroom and i followed him in and took a leak. i was in there maybe 30 seconds. i walked out and sat on the bench waiting for him. he was in there about 5 minutes. When we walked out of walmart we were accosted by a man and woman with badges. i told them i didn't know what they were talking about. they took us to a room and i immediately dropped my shorts and proved i stole nothing. they freaked that i did that but I'm not a thief. the cops came and the walmart people insisted that i knew that my cousin stole the otterbox. i honestly had no idea he stole it. now i have a court date despite my cousin insisting multiple times that he did it and i had no idea he was going to steal it. the cops basically said tell it to the judge. i just got hired for a county govt job and this is ridiculous. i don't understand how i could be charged when they have video that shows i did absolutely nothing wrong. i didn't even pick anything up. should i get a lawyer? I'm afraid i might get an ahole judge who will declare me guilty of something i had no control over. Its hard to express how this feels. any suggestions?

  • AMD Processor compatibility?

I have an older desktop but it's not extremely old. It is actually a HP a6703w with an Nettle3-GL8E AM2+ motherboard. It had a AMD Athlon X2 in it but I put a Phenom II x4 8200 quad core in it. The CPU has worked fine since I put it in. The only problem is that it doesn't seem that the BIOS detects the correct CPU. It says unknown. CPUID and Everest Pro both detect the CPU in some fields but each detect each core as unkown but both do detect all four cores. Windows also detects all four cores.

My question is am I losing any performance due to the CPU not being recognized by Windows? I have the latest BIOS installed. I have not been able to locate a Windows Vista 32bit driver for this CPU. Does anyone have any suggestions? I appreciate it.

  • ***Need the best way to accept signatures on Samsung Galaxy S SGH-I897****?

My job requires us to get the customer to sign off on our work orders once we have completed the task and the customer is happy. The phones we use are the Samsung Galaxy S (SGH-I897) which has a touchscreen that is a little larger than the iPhone. We have our website setup with a signature widget that works fine. Everything is in place perfectly and would work perfectly with one exception, the stylus

I have been unable to find a stylus that works smoothly for signatures. We have tried a couple different brands but they have soft tips that grip when sliding and it really is not good for signatures. I have asked my company if just initialing would be okay, and the answer is no. It must be a complete signature. Also fingertips are out of the question. We can't ask a customer who may have just paid us a good bit of money, to sign with a fingertip. It is not professional. I did see an ad for a pogo stylus? Never heard of it until a minute ago. Anyone tried it?

Does anyone know of a stylus that will write well enough to be legible on an iPhone or Android touchscreen? I have contacted Samsung and they flat out said they don't support ANY stylus' for their product which is kind of ridiculous considering how many businesses are using similar tools. Maybe someone can help me with a recommendation on a better product than the current stylus' that we have. Any help would be appreciated.

  • How to find specific parts for a Xingyue ITA 150 scooter?

I recently got a good deal on a Xingyue ITA 150 scooter and need a little help on finding a good site to identify parts. I have never owned a scooter/moped but I owned dirt bikes in the past. I mainly would like to find a site that lists the parts for a specific model or a site that can give me the repair/service manual. The scooter is a 2008 Xingyue ITA 150 with the XY 150T-7 motor. The manufacturer tag on it says Engine Family 8XYEC, 150SA1. I mainly need to find out the type of oil filter I need and the type of headlight I need to replace. The headlight housing doesn't have the old headlight in it or I could look up the part number. A lot of sites say they list the parts for specific models, but most list BS parts that are not needed like chrome things or bling bling lights which I don't need. Seems like most sites list the same stuff, like they are the same sites just different domain names. Any help would be appreciated.

  • Has anyone ever tried ChaCha?

I saw a few things that said chacha will pay people to answer questions and receive 20 cents for each answer. Has anyone ever used this and is is even worth it to sign up with hopes of making a few extra bucks. Also do you have to answer questions over your phone and use your minutes?

  • Arthroscopy Pain Meds

I am having right shoulder arthroscopy this coming Thursday. My doctor said my shoulder injury is the worst he has ever seen. I have been on vicodin for the past few years to deal with the pain. The doctors have told me that I will be unable to work for around 4-6 months. Has anyone ever had this surgery and would know what pain medication I will most likely be prescribed? Hydrocodone does not do the trick anymore, and I figure that I will get some oxycodone based meds. Should I ask the doctor for a particular medicine that I have used in the past that I know works? Or is this a bad idea.

  • Disability/Unemployment Question

I have a severe shoulder injury that occurred around 10 years ago. It has gotten worse. I have been setting up all the visits to get the necessary surgery. I have found out the the injury is much more worse than first thought. I went to the orthopedic surgeon today and I found out that I will get the surgery in one week. I was stunned when he told me that I may be out of work for months, maybe 6 months. He said he would put me on disability. I don't have health insurance and the injury was not at work. A few people have mentioned that I may be able to get disability or unemployment. I live in South Carolina. Does anyone know what my course of action should be? I have never been through anything like this and I cannot afford to be out of work for a long period of time with no income. Any help would be appreciated.
