  • I was just told publishers don't take manuscripts anymore?

    A publisher themself told me.....

that people don't want to read your manuscript before agreeing to publish you?

They just expect you to have faith in your own work if you're willing to spend the money to try to publish it.. And they only read it while editing it.

They said that people don't even want you to send them the beginning of your novels like they used to with query letters. that they usually get thrown away.

I was very caught off guard by this and confused. They said it was the old way of doing things.

I always thought you had to send them your stuff before they would even publish you, because for all they know it could be junk!

I do not know what to think about this news??....

  • How do you copyright a manuscript?

    I'm writing a novel.

How do I get it copyrighted?

How much does it normally cost?

  • Copyright before publishing?

Before you even start to try and publish a book and send your manuscript to people, shouldn't you get it copyrighted?

How do you go about doing this and how much does it cost?

  • Have you published a book?

If you have published a book, please tell me a little about the process.

    What is very difficult?

    Did it take long time?

I've heard people say that the editors can be very harsh.

    The more detailed the better.

    Thanks!

  • Most unexpected kiss?

Most first kisses are pretty predictable.

Please share your story of your most unpredictable, unexpected kiss. it didn't have to be a good one, your first one, or even with someone you liked. Just a time when it happened out of nowhere and how the situation ended. good or bad.

  • Accidental/almost kiss?

Have you ever gotten lost in the moment and kissed, or almost kissed someone you shouldn't be kissing before you realized what was going on?

It happens in the movies.....does it happen in real life?

If so, please tell me your story, and how it felt when you were totally out of it....or didn't realize what you were doing. I think it would be so crazy to not know what you were doing and want to know what would be going through that person's head at the moment.

  • Hallelujah diet and cellulite?

I am applying most of the principles from the Hallelujah diet to my life. I have heard lots of people say they have lost weight on the diet, but I do not need to lose weight. I am very skinny, but I have cellulite on my legs from lack of exercise and from before I started eating healthy.

I was wondering if anyone has experienced loss of cellulite due to the Hallelujah diet, and not just weight loss.

Because to me there is a big difference.
