  • Stomach pain - is it serious? ?

My father has been having severe stomach pain for about two weeks now. Along with that, he's been coughing and I believe he had a fever a few days ago. This all began after he ate some dried Chinese mushrooms, my mother also reported stomach pain but she's fine now. He refuses to go to the hospital and I'm getting worried but perhaps he just has the flu.

  • Airport advice for a trans guy?

I'm not out as transgender to my parents whom I will be traveling with and I generally wear a binder but am anxious that I will be questioned about it when going through security. I thoroughly look like a biological male but I don't know how TSA think. Should I just not wear it? And will it even show up as an anomaly when I go through the scanner?

  • How long would I have to be absent from school with an illness to require a doctor's note?

I'm an 8th grader in middle school and I'd quite like to be able to recover from a sickness for a few more days. I've been absent from school for 2 days now and according to my parents after 2 days of absence (with an illness) I must have a doctor's note for proof. Is this true?

  • Does this meet ADA regulations?

I found a ramp that was 4 ft high and 28 ft long, is it ADA compliant? It's slope, simplified is 1/7 and I know that any ramp higher than 6 inches must have at least a 1/12 slope. I'm pretty sure it is compliant though...

  • Is this serious?

Yesterday I got pushed and fell backwards, hitting the back of my head on the wall of a classroom hard. I didn't have a concussion but that part of my head just hurt really badly. I went to sleep and woke up way too late (I got 15 hours of sleep) and it's been 4 hours since I woke up and I have a headache that only hurts bad if I move my head. My eyes hurt as well. This usually happens after I sleep for too long, but since I also have a head injury I'm kind of worried. My head isn't throbbing or anything I just have a headache. The place where I hit my head hurts less and the swelling is down, by the way. I don't know if the headache is because of the injury or because I slept for too long. Should I get some medical attention? I'm thinking I'll wait until tomorrow to see if I still have a headache.

  • What is this movie?

I remember when I was younger I watched a movie in which a little girl is abducted by a man that says that her parents are sick or something and wants her to go with him. She is taken to a house, bathed, fed, and clothed and meets an African American boy. I think she gets to call her father to confirm that he did ask the people to take care of her but he isn't home or something. She's forced into child pornography, which she and the boy handle by drawing and cutting out planets and hiding in a tent and playing with them and some other stuff happens and she and the little boy end up in a store and she sees a milk carton with her photo on it or something like that. She eventually grows up and I think at 17 comes back to her family to see that they've replaced her (i think they had another daughter or something) so she leaves and returns to the boy who becomes her best friend or love interest or something.

I'm trying to find this movie because I'm doing a report on child abuse for school and this would be a good addition to the sexual abuse/pedophilia section (I'm trying to find as many good movies on those topics as I can because I've noticed a lot of movies glorifying sexual abuse and I think that's disgusting)

  • Why am I hearing a noise in my left ear?

I was in the middle of work when suddenly I heard a faint noise in my left ear. It went away, but now it s back and it sounds like scissors snipping at paper. Like "snip, snip. Snip, snip. Snip snip" repeatedly. I m positive it s only in my ear and that no one else can hear it. I was listening to kind of loud music last night and cutting paper, could that be the cause? I m worried I might have tinnitus, which is what Google is suggesting. It s not going away.

  • Will I have a roach problem?

Was putting garbage from the trash can in my room into a bag. Usually I don't put anything edible in my trash, but this week I was too lazy to put it in the kitchen garbage can. Roach scared the sht outta me, swore so loud the neighbours heard. I thought it was a moth at first because I could barely see, and tried to grab it, then killed it when I noticed it was a roach.

Last year there were roaches living in one of my drawers. According to my dad, at least. Didn't see any myself.

I am definitely not going to be putting food in my trash anymore, holy sht. But will I have a roach problem? There was only one in my trash. I've searched my room for more and don't see any (obviously they'd probably not be in a clearing but I'm really fcking paranoid).

How do I know if I'm going to have a roach issue and what do i do?

  • I am a trans guy. What do I do in highschool?

I'm going to highschool next year and am planning on graduating early so I can start hormone treatment as soon as possible (or rather, get a job to pay for it) and begin college. I have come out to all of my friends, and anyone who asks my gender. Except for teachers, because I fear they'll tell my parents. My parents are extremely unsupportive of transgender people but they are fine with LGB+. I do not plan on telling them until I begin hormones.

I would like to tell the teachers at my highschool that I am a guy so they will call me by my name and say he and stuff. Should I? I feel like I would be able to trust them more than the teachers at my middle school as I have visited the highschool I am going to.

And gym. Oh, boy. Currently, my school does not have gym, as it is technology based. We don't have to wear gym clothes or anything like that. I bind (quite badly I might add but no one notices) and usually hide my (fairly flat compared to others') chest under a hoodie. I've never taken my hoodie off at school. What do I do about gym?

Should I use the men's bathroom? Currently I don't even go into the bathroom at school. I look look like a guy, so I think I don't think any students will ask any questions.

    Thank you for your answers.
