Hi I was the proud owner of my beloved Sneakers who died of a stroke in January of 06. She was my soulmate and lived with diabetes for 5 years. From that I learned that vets just aren't up to date on many things especially diabetes as she certainly would have died had I left her treatment in their hands. Since then I have worked on a diabetes board and have helped many people learn how to deal with this and treat this disease correctly. I have also learned that dry food is the pits for cats and can lead to many health problems.
