  • Finding the intersection points of a line perpendicular to two skew lines?

    There are two skew lines:

    L1 = (3, -1, 2) + t(1, 1, 0)

    L2 = (0, 5, 2) + t(1, -2 1)

    I have no trouble finding the shortest distance between these lines, which is the magnitude of the line perpendicular to both these given lines. My question is, how do you find the points of intersection of these two lines with the line of shortest distance? (The perpendicular line that cuts through both these lines?)

  • Help me identify my houseplant?

    The pot says Tropical assorted, and the leaves are green with some red/brown, mostly brown colours in the middle. The leaves are rough, and bumpy. And resembles the leaves in this picture except the surface is much more bumpy/rough, and the colour in the middle is less vivid, and more brown. It is a small plant, roughly 10 cm when measuring length of the stem, one of them is roughly 4cm.
