I would have respected him more if he went to Western Europe, and was seeking asylum, and released this info fully for everyone to read and decide. Not dicing it up to benefit the Russian government, and anyone it thinks will be a strategic ally against the west.

It's also seems dumb to me that much of the arab world is banding behind Russia, who considers them to be inferior, and useful idiots.

This isn't the 60's you need to start getting real. People have to smuggle drugs, or pay an outrageous amount of money to coyotes/cartels, around two thousand, up to five thousand. and women have to give up sex much of the time. People CAN'T get across the border without them anymore. Why not just ask the people for the two thousand for legal entry? instead of giving it to ruthless criminals?
