Yahoo Toolbar reverting icons back to default?
I have been having problems with icons disappearing and defaulting back to original Yahoo icons. I have uninstalled and reinstalled the toolbar to no avail, uninstall and reinstalled Firefox to no avail. They stay in place if I leave a website up and don't shut down my computer. However when I clear my cache they disappeared again and default back. It is annoying and time consuming having to replace them. I don't know if its a firefox or yahoo issue, and logging off Yahoo and back on, and checking the box indicating stay logged in for 2 weeks doesn't help. I am getting really annoyed, to the point that if Yahoo can't fix the problem, I will just find another browser and toolbar option.
1 AnswerYahoo Toolbar7 years agoCan another business obtain a trademark on a business I own?
I obtained a DBA for my small business in January 2013. I had a cease & desist letter sent to another business who was using the same name and selling the same product in May 2013. In July 2013 this business obtained a DBA for the same name as my business, filed it as an LLC and trademarked the name. I was told when I obtained my DBA that if another business wanted to file with the same or similar name, they would be warned they could be subject to legal action. The other business is now sending me a cease & desist letter. What is my recourse? Is the business name legally mine because I started using it first? Also, the other business was well aware of my business name and my product prior to obtaining their DBA, LLC and Trademark. Thanks in advance for any assistance.

Very small business, no employees, do I need to have a restroom facility?
I own a small business in upstate NY with no employees. I am in the process of moving it to a new location and the office won't be in a permanent structure. I am in the business of selling sheds, garages, cabins, etc., I will be using one of the cabins as an office. So there won't be any digging footers or anything like that. The building will be sitting on a stone pad. State code indicates restrooms are needed however the codes are written for permanent buildings or for employers with 1 or more employees, but since I don't have employees, am I still required to provide a restroom facilities.
I have access to restroom facilities in another business across the street and next door. My business is seasonal (6-7 months) and I will be in and out during the day on calls.
1 AnswerSmall Business8 years agois it illegal to copy websites?
Another business has copied my business website, word for word, photos, logo and design. The only thing they changed is the business name (which is also identical, except they changed the word Thee to The) and where they are located. I understand that once the website was created, it was automatically copywrited by who ever created the site. Since, I paid a company to create and host my website, would they be the owners of the copywrite or am I since I paid them to do a job? If the web design company holds the copywrite, could my website be copied if the web design company gave permission? The other company has dealings with the web design company and I have a feeling they assisted this other company with copying my website. I would appreciate any info given. Thank you
