So I went to one of those chain haircutting places today to get a haircut, I'm not super familiar with barbers in general because I had one guy i used to go to just knew how I liked it did a good job. I dont ask for anything fancy just want a good professional looking hairstyle. Well when I got home it looked ok and it wasnt until I combed it out to go to bed and was mortified to find a diagonal line from the top of my right forehead to my left eye. Before leaving they had parted it and put product in so I couldnt check there but now I'm seeing this and I AM FURUOUS!!! I want the person who did this fired, a refund, and it fixed! It looks fine parted but I often dont style my hair, so if I wake up and just head out the door it will look horrendous. Before I get too angry, are haircuts for men who part their hair supposed to be uneven when combed out, because I have always had an even haircut and just parted it out fine when I tried to do anything. Also for reference I asked for 2 inches off and just trimmed up. They took off 5 inches and damn nearly buzzed it.

Im a guy who just graduated from college back in may. My father who s in his 50s wears his college class ring every day of his life and has been encouraging me to get one. I kind of like them and how they look, but I have been debating getting one as they are expesnive and I have heard that wearig one makes you look pretentious and is no longer an acceptable thing to wear over the age of 30. So my question is, is wearing one a bad thing to wear one or is it worth buying one like my father keeps telling me

I recently graduated from Ohio State and got a job offer. I don't know anything about the area and want to be well prepared for the move. Any suggestions are appreciated

So unknowingly my parents scheduled a family vacation to disney world during the busiest week of the year the week before christmas. There are 6 of us going and the youngest is 20. I don't know why they decided disney was the best option as it was more expensive then a cruise. Anyway other than couples things what is there to do in disney world as an adult other than rides as me and my mother both experience severe motion sickness

My younger brother is taking micro econ and had a question of opportunity cost. I took econ 5 years ago so I am a little rusty on it, but If I am correct the cost is what the alternative is. So If the average american without a college degree makes 30k a year and you attend college for 4 years the opportunity cost of attending college is 120,000 where the cost to attend college is 80,000 and the total cost would be 200,000. The next questions is the cost to attend the lecture which I interpreted as lost wages in the hour long lecture which would be $15 he interpreted it as 2 hours lost sleep since its an early class and he would spend it sleeping otherwise which I think both answers are appropriate. Any additional thoughts?

So I have been wanting to learn how to ride a bike for a while now and found a good deal on a CBR600 from 2006. I was wondering if this kind of bike would be good to learn on or If I shouldn't bother with it. Also how much maintenence is required for this bike and are they reliable?

So I turned 21 on tuesday and had my first drink ever, not even a sip, yesterday. I had an angry orchard because I thought "hey what the hell its a cider and it should be pretty good". Anyway I started drinking it and it tasted like crap, I drank the whole thing anyway because it cost like $10 and had a few sips of the thing my friend was drinking, which weren't bad, but they were only small sips. Anyway today I had an Apple-ahhhhh-rita, like a strawberita and hated it as well. I drank about half of that and then chucked it because I couldn't take it. I thought it was supposed to be good, but its just nasty to me. If I drink more overtime will this change or do I just not like Alcohol? I mean it sucks because I was told "oh man ur turning 21 alcohol is great and you'll love it" and it just turned out to be a let down. Honestly I would just rather have a coke then either of those two things again and pretend I'm drunk.

So me and her were going to hang out today maybe see a movie or watch tv and just chill. Anyway,I texted her and it took her a few hours to respond but she responded with hey you, told me what she was doing and then asked whats up. She never has texted me like that before but she broke up with her boyfriend just a few weeks ago. we never ended up going to the movies because she became sick later on. Do you guys think shes into me. P.S. in high school she did like me and I know that because some friends of mine asked her, but it never went anywhere because i was to shy. I know i am probably reading to much into it

me and this girl were talking for a while but I had been going through a break up and never made the move. Anyway now she has a boyfriend and they have been together 5 months now. She is always telling me how happy she is, and talks to me about him and refers to her dates as (hot dates). Between the two of us we have talked about our ideas of marriage and relationships and through our conversations we always seem to click. I don't know if she likes me or not, not that I would try and steal her from him as that is just mean, but when she tells me about all this is tears at me inside. What do you think?

So I have time warner, and my father realizes this as well, but time warner is more of a hassle then its worth. They offered us a great deal and everything was fine until recently, higher charges, terrible customer service, and terrible service. We have to "rent" one of their modems from them and its garbage. It might work for a while, but then it goes out for a few minutes and starts a cycle of service and no service. I am a student an it took me 12 minutes to download a powerpoint, that should have only take a minute. Anyway I was wondering if there are any decent modems out there i can replace this one with. We have phone (dnt know why), cable and internet, so it has to work with all those.

As a kid growing up I was told grades are the most important thing, and I was also always worried about my family's financials, up until recently because my parents had a tendency to over spend early on, up until I was about 10 or so. My memories before then mostly are bad and consist of me and my siblings outside trying to avoid my parents arguing. So pretty much through my freshmen year of college (now a junior) have focused on maximizing my capital and getting good grades, but now that my parents make more there is less stress on grades and money and they started making fun of me because I dnt go out. I have not learned yet how to have a conversation to hang out outside of class. Don't get me wrong, I have plenty of friends and have had a girlfriend before so im not entirely socially inept, but I've waited up until now to be invited to hang out with others to little avail as I only hang out with 1 friend outside of class, and another one, but only one time last week. All my other friends I only see in school or if we see each other outside of class it is almost entirely class related. So the question is how do

i ask people to hang out? I feel like its awkward for everyone as I tried to hang out with one girl I know (was going to ask her out when we hung out, but she didn't know) and she was to busy with finals coming up. Seriously this isn't a joke. HELP!

Ok so what I mean is not necessarily that you are going to obsess over them, but do you see guys and feel like you would date them if they asked, mostly knowing they probably won't. I don't know really how to explain, but me as a guy I see a lot of girls around my school that I find attractive for most part and there are very few girls out there that I would not give a second look. I guess what i am saying would you consider dating almost any guy as long as they were not severely deformed, or were extremely rude, crude, or have a lower Iq than a potato

So I have my current laptop and asked another question earlier and depending on its answer I might buy a gaming laptop. I want to be able to play skyrim on it with really good settings so I can run texture and lighting mods to make it look pretty good and other mods like armour, quest, and weapon mods. I don't plan on building it as I am not good with computers and will probably buy one from factory. What would be a good laptop choice If I want to be able to run and play skyrim with mods, yet also use it for school?

Ok so I have a gateway laptop that has not been cared for too well since I take it back and forth to school everyday. Its been knocked off my desk and all sorts of things yet works pretty well. So heres whats going on. One day my touch pad stopped working so I switched to a usb mouse. First one the wires broke and it no longer worked. Second one's usb port got wore out and was unable to function continuously. Now I am on my third mouse and it works well in my left side port. (I have three USB ports 1 left two right) and on the right side though it is always slipping out and disconnecting. I believe the port is now wore out and will need fixed. I have other problems with the laptop so if its expensive I will just get a new one.

First, I drive a 1998 honda civic automatic 4dr. Its a rare noise but I finally found the specifics for when it makes it. When I am accelerating if I go from a cruising speed, or coasting and accelerate quickly up to about 2k RPM (not a slow acceleration) when I go any hire I get engine roar any lower maybe a little squeal, but its very faint. If I accelerate slowly to 2k i don't get any squeal. any Ideas I read some where it could be a serpentine belt. Does this sound accurate.

I have a 1998 honda civic lx and from what I have read has a 1.1 cap and when looking I stumbled upon a 1.3 upgrade and was wondering if it was safe and if it was worth upgrading to a higher pressure cap. My car is not overheating works fine and everything. Should I upgrade or not?
