We've been together for a year and a half. The first months when we were dating we would fool around a lot. I had no problem with it. But then when we started trying to have sex (I am a virgin, he is not) I would freak out because I would get scared or it hurt so we stopped. But then he starting having his own problems, I was relaxed, but he wasn't so it couldn't stay up.

So now even when we are fooling around, once it feels good I start freaking out. I don't know if it has to do with me feeling like we're having sex (even though our clothes on are on) or if I don't deserve to have pleasure. My mother taught me when I was young to wait for sex until I was married.I used to think that's what I wanted, but now I don't care as long as I love my boyfriend and he loves me (that's how it is now). Why am I freaking out now when fooling around? How can I stop feeling guilty like I am doing something bad?

How can I help my boyfriend stop feeling so pressured about it "having to be perfect" and stop worrying about it staying up? He's really worried about it and thinks we'll never have sex.

Last weekend my boyfriend went on a trip. Since I was alone,I spent a lot of time writing and then I realized I had stopped writing in my diary for a long time and I wasn't giving myself enough time all to myself. That weekend was able to think things through and focus on myself.

I've been going out with my boyfriend for 5 months. I'm really happy with him, we have a great time together, we've only fought once. He's the only person I've been able to open up to completely. He told me he was in love with me quite soon. I kind of freaked out at first because I've only been in love with one person and it took me a while for that to happen.

My relationship is doing really well in general, but somehow sometimes I feel like something is bothering me and I don't know what it is. It's like I'm scared of thing moving too quickly. Or I get worried that I might discover that I was only with him to fulfill my physical needs (we haven't slept together and I'm still a virgin). I don't want to break up with him because I do feel something really deep for him, but it's like I'm afraid of letting my guard down and saying Ok, I'm in love with him I trust that he won't hurt me.
