  • Topic for a history research paper? (10 POINTS TO BEST ANSWER)?

I have to write a history research paper which counts for a good portion of my grade and I'm allowed to choose my own topic. Does anyone know some interesting (unusual) topics? I would like it to have something to do with the roman/greek empire, particularly with their religions or their inventions, or asian history, but nothing later than 1700, though I'm open to suggestions. The only thing I don't want is it to be centered around politics or the economy. Thanks in advance. (Best answer gets 10 points)

  • Impulse and momentum problems?

Okay so I have a physics test tomorrow on impulse and momentum and i want some more practice. I googled some problems on those topics and all the results were far too easy and presented no challenge. Can anyone give me some problems (and their solutions) on impulse and/or momentum that will make me think? BTW I'm in grade 11 but feel free to give me problems you think will be too hard.

  • How to get rid of unwanted hair that I never used to have?

Okay so I started shaving my legs when I was twelve. At that time I didn't know that if you shaved hair it would grow back thicker. For some reason (I don't know why, this was 5 years ago) I felt compelled to shave a straight line down the center of my stomach, but I didn't actually have any hair there. Now I have a line of light brown hair where I shaved. It can't be seen from more than a couple of meters away (depending on the kind of light), but I don't want to get too close to anyone while wearing a bikini and I always feel very self-conscious. I don't want to shave again because it will probably make it worse. This didn't happen naturally since I don't have this problem anywhere apart from this line. This has been bothering me for 5 years! Is there any way to get rid of this for a long time, as in a few months or even permanently? And yes, I know I was a stupid twelve year old, so I don't want any mean comments.

  • Change the unlock screen wallpaper on my Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1?

Every time I try set a picture as my unlock screen wallpaper, my galaxy tab asks me to crop it. I do so and then it just saves the cropped picture and does nothing with it. If I click on the cropped picture and try set it as my unlock screen wallpaper, it asks me to crop it again. How do I fix/get around it?

  • Difficulty Breathing?

I'm a healthy 15 year old girl and I have recently had trouble breathing. It feels like I'm breathing through a straw. It gets so bad that I can't stand up for about 10 minutes to half an hour. Then it gets bearable but it's always there. It peaks about 1 - 3 times a day. 20 July was the first time I had difficulty breathing. I had been on roaccutane/accutane for a month. I had bad side effects to the medicine: dry skin, lips so dry they bleed, nausea, dizziness and headaches. Then I read that other people on roaccutane also had trouble breathing so i stopped taking it a week later, and it helped a little bit. On 4 August I started taking cyclimycin and 3 days later my breathing started to get a lot worse, so I stopped it the next day. Yesterday it got so bad that I couldn't stand up for almost 3 hours and eventually I was taken to the ER. They did an allergy test and it came back negative. Apart for the usual roaccutane/accutane symptoms, there have been no other symptoms. Since the beginning of the year, there has been 3 cases when I have passed out after running. When I run for about a half a kilometer, my throat closes up and I make high-pitched wheezing noises. I am fit and don't get tired very easily and this only happens when I run. I don't have asthma. I'm not sure if these two problems are related. I've been to a cardiologist and he said that I have an irregular heart beat but it isn't a problem. Does anyone know what could be wrong with me, or what kind of doctor I should see?

  • Uncontrollable lucid dreams?

All my life lucid dreams have come to me naturally, except you are supposed to be able to control lucid dreams. I can't. No matter how hard I try I cannot make things go my way, the dream carries on how it would have if it wasn't lucid. If it's a nightmare, I still feel as scared as usual. Does anyone know why this is happening and how to fix it?
