I’m friends with some freshman and apparently one guy likes me or whatever. I think he’s cute and he’s nice. I like him well enough but I don’t want it to be super weird if I date him. I kinda want it go for it but I’m scared people will be like wtf why is a junior girl dating a freshman guy. Like I told one of my friends I might go for it and she’s like please don’t I’ve known him for so long. I understand but I don’t know him like that and I’m only like a little over a year older. I want to go for it but I don’t want to get super judged. What should I do? I know boys who date freshman and only like 1 or 2 girls who have dated a freshman boy in my grade.

I’m a junior and I kind of like a freshman guy. He’s really funny and nice, yes he can be a little immature but he’s not much worse than guys in my grade. He seems like he’s into me, but I don’t want it to be weird. There’s other couples like this at my school but not many. I’m 16 and he’s like 15. Would it be super weird to date him? I don’t think age really matters but I don’t want it to be a big deal.

So I have two friends (a girl and her bf) a grade younger than me. Her bf best friend I am kinda friends with but not close at all, but I think he’s cute. He kinda looks at me a lot and he tries to talk to me, says hi, etc but I figure that’s just normal friend stuff. One day after a game her bf asks me if I’ll be at the library tomorrow. I say”I’m not planning on it, why?”. He says “because someone’s going to be there.” So I go to the library and I see her bfs best friend there, and he usually isn’t there, so I thought he might be who they were talking about. Then at hoco her bf starts asking me where my date is and all this stuff. I’m like “I don’t have one”. Then he starts like talking to his best friend and it seems like he was telling him what I said. The best friend also was looking at me throughout the dance. I’m not saying this guy likes me but I’m just wondering if he at least has some kind of attraction towards me, I’m not good at getting those cues.

I made a spam story for my friends but I accidentally made it private so only I can post. Is there anyway I can change it back to custom so my friends can post as well? Or do I have to make an entirely new story?

Idk it just seems like weird bc all my friends have sex and stuff and I haven’t even had my first kiss. I’m not particularly ugly and I have boys like me, idk what my problem is. I feel so weird when my friends tell me about their sex life and I have 0 experience at all, I feel like an outcast.

So I’m volunteering at this school, there’s one volunteer who always stares at me, I think he thinks I’m cute. Anyways I think he’s cute, but I haven’t had chance to talk to him bc we are in different classrooms. I typically see him in the halls walking, sometimes signing in and signing out, but that’s it. We’ve talked maybe 1 or 2x but it was like “oh you can go” and stuff. Tomorrow’s the last day and I really just want to get the nerve up and say hi, and start a convo. What should I do? I don’t want to regret never doing anything, pls give me advice how to talk to him!

It seems like I’ll catch a boy looking at me a lot, and I won’t give the same attention back at first. But as soon as I do the same thing it seems like they stop?? Why would they show interest in the first place if they didn’t want it back?

I’m NOT looking for attention, I’m genuinely wondering. Basically people tell me I’m pretty and I’ll get stares, and some guys but no winners mildly interested. Yet I’ve never had a boyfriend, or even held hands with a guy besides my dad. No guy has ever asked me out. Sometimes I think a boy will like me bc he’ll look at me a lot and stuff but idk if I just look unapproachable bc they never attempt to get a word in. I understand it would be hard to talk to someone they like if they did think I was pretty, but if I was cute wouldn’t at least one person have done it by now? (I’m a junior next year). And why do people call me pretty when I can’t be. I feel like I’m just being lied to and no boy will like me:(. If I’m so supposedly pretty why does no boy attempt to talk to me or date me, ever? I’m not looking for attention but I know if I ask anyone I really know they’ll say “you’re just being selective” or “they’re intimidated”. I just want to know why people would tell me this if no boy likes me.

Sometimes I just get so lonely. I have my family and friends, but I don’t seem to come first to any of them. My friends treat me as 2nd and take me for granted, running back to me after another friend ditches them.

I’m going to be a junior and I’ve never dated anyone. I’ve heard it before, it’s normal, whatever. All my friends have many boys like them and have bfs, I’m always the third wheel. Idk what I’m doing wrong. I just makes me feel even more alone.

I’ve never had someone I can tell everything to and they can tell everything to me. I’ve never been someone’s first choice. It sucks to not know what you’re doing wrong to end up like this.

It seems like the attraction is mutual and I want to make it obvious enough to him I’m interested, I feel like I am not clear enough, especially because I walked away when he seemed like he was going to talk to me. I just got too nervous.

I want to smile at him and I will be certain I’m going to do it, but I always wimp out and I’m tired of it. I want to show I’m interested before the last day of school (June 11), and idk how to ensure I will do it.

What are ways you would like force yourself to do this? I know it comes down to me but whenever I look at him and we make eye contact I forget to smile. What should I do?

I act a little different with guy friends than girl friends but not anything major, I’m just not gossiping as much or anything. Also when I’m with my guy friends I’m always with my girl bffs too. For some reason a lot of guy friends I’ve had always think I have a crush on them. It’s kind of annoying and it makes it awkward for them and me bc I feel like if I keep acting normal around them they will keep thinking I have a crush on them, even though I don’t. I’m sarcastic and tease them but I do that with all my friends, girl or boy Why do they think this and what should I do to make sure this doesn’t happen?

Sorry if the question is confusing. One of my bffs (call her S) has a bf and they went on a break for like 3 days. Literally the day after they went on the break my other bff (call her W) was asking me if I thought that S was going to try and go after our guy friend (O). I think that W has a little crush on O bc S and her bf weren’t even broken up, S hasn’t even showed interest in O and even called him her brother, yet W thinks S is all of the sudden going to try O. I want to ask S if she thinks W has a crush on O but I don’t want to cause drama especially bc W has a bf but I really think she has a crush on O. Should I tell S that W was asking me the day after her and her bf went on a small break if S was going to try and “get” O? Pls help I really need advice.

Sorry if this is a bit of a rant but I have no one to talk to about it:

So my friend is very pretty. It’s to be expected guys will like her and check her out. But it seems like she’s constantly rubbing it into me and my other friends faces! It seems like almost every single time we have a conversation she says something like “omg this boy wants to date me” “all these boys were checking me out”, etc. It’s not that I don’t want to hear about it but she will CONSTANTLY talk about it.

Also if boys approach ALL of us she’ll act like it’s only because of her, never about us. I’m tired of it. It makes me feel so bad about myself. And she already has a bf!! Whenever she complains of guys hitting on her I ask her why she doesn’t tell them she uninterested and she has a bf, and she says “well I don’t want to be rude”. I can tell she’s acting differently bc whenever it’s just me and my other best friend we aren’t always talking about boys liking us and stuff, we just have fun. To me it seems like she’s being super competitive and is trying to prove she’s prettier, has a better body, etc and it just pisses me off. Why does it have to be a competition. She acts like every boy checks her out and likes her when it’s far from true, not every boy likes her.

It’s to the point where I literally won’t tell them one thing because I know she’ll try to down play it and act like it’s notthing compared to what happened to her even though it might mean something to me.

I’m 16, soph in high school. I’m kinda shy but I have plenty of friends both boy and girl, and I will talk to anyone, I just don’t usually strike up a conversation. With my closest friends (2 girls 1 boy) we’ll go out and smoke, sometimes drink. We’ve done this plenty of times. My 2 girl friends always talk about ******* their bfs and my boy friend is a virgin but he has a thing and he has made out and stuff. It makes me feel like such a loser. It also makes me feel weird because I feel like you usually at least kiss someone before you start doing this stuff. What’s your opinion?
