  • Do People on Yahoo Answers Not Know How to Use Google or Other Search Engines?

Why do people post questions on Yahoo answers instead of just using Google or searching Yahoo, which does, in fact, have its very own search engine? 99% of the time when I answer a question that I don't automatically know the answer to, a quick web search turns the answer up in less than two minutes.

I understand that advice type questions (i.e. "What should I do?") must be asked, but when someone posts asking for the name of a movie or something, I want to punch a puppy.

    Seriously.

  • Why don't you just use Google?

Why do people ask questions in Yahoo Answers that can be resolved by doing a 2 second Google search? Honestly.

  • TMobile Rebate Help and is Motorola Rizr a good phone?

    1. Is the Rizr a good phone?

    2. Can someone who is a Tmobile employee tell me that if I call to upgrade, can they just apply the rebate to my purchase price so I don't have to go through the rebate process?

  • Do you like haikus? How do you publish them?

What do you think of mine? http://thinkfrustrated-haiku.blogspot.com/

I love writing them, and have a TON on there. Please pick through some archives and give me an honest opinion.

    Thanks.

Also, how can I get these published without self-publishing?

  • Why are my brakes still squeaking after a brake job?

I got my brakes done about 5-6 months ago. Ever since then, the front brakes make kind of a squeak-squeak-squeak sound. It's not a constant squeal, but rather squeaks as the wheel turns. This goes away as I press on the brake, but when I let my foot off, it comes back. As I speed up, the squeak gets faster and faster (as if when the wheel turns faster, the squeaking speeds up, too). Occassionally, when I hit the brakes, the sound goes away, but when I turn the wheel a little to the left or right, or hit the brakes again, it comes back. My mechanic has checked this and said that they can't find anything, and that some squeaking after a brake job is normal. I think it's been long enough that this sound should be gone by now. Can anyone help?
