I get a BSOD when I start my HP about 75% of the time after installing a new battery.?
I called the vendor and they said that I got the low capacity battery and needed to adjust the battery settings or get the high capacity battery to get rid of the BSOD that says incompatible battery and won't allow windows to start. This error only happens about 75% of the time, and the computer runs fine the rest of the time after startup. The battery fits perfectly and I don't want to return it and wait for a new one to arrive because the company I got it from sucks in all aspects (laptopsforless.com). I wanted to know how I would go about changing the battery settings, and if I needed to mess with the BIOS. Specifics would be excellent. Thanks.

1 AnswerLaptops & Notebooks1 decade agoHow does protein turn to fat without starvation?
People say that excess dietary protein will turn to fat. I know that protein must first be converted to carbohydrate via gluconeogenesis, and then it can be stored as fat through lipogenesis. But you need to be in a state of starvation for gluconeogenesis to occur. So how does excess protein get stored as fat if you aren't restricting you diet? (I'm looking for the name and explanation of the process in technical terms)
