  • Help me with an assignment please!?

Suppose that a ball dropped from a building bounces off the pavement and that on each bounce it returns to a certain constant percentage of its previous height. Write a program to read the height from which the ball was dropped, the percentage rebound, and the number of bounces. Then for the given number of bounces, print the height of the ball at the top of each bounce, the distance traveled during that bounce, and the total distance traveled thus far. The ball is ‘at rest’ when the height is less than 1/2 an inch.

    >>how do you do it? at least an advice or a tip/s.. thanks..

  • What is the answer to this linear inequality problem?

    5. A farmer can use two types of plant food, mix A and mix B. The amounts (in grams) of nitrogen, phosphoric acid, and potash in a cubic meter of each mix are given in the table. Tests performed on the soil in a large field indicate that the field needs at least 840 grams of potash and at least 350 grams of nitrogen. The tests also indicate that no more than 630 grams of phosphoric acid should be added to the field. A cubic meter of mix A costs P70 and a cubic meter of mix B costs P90. How many cubic meters of each mix should the farmer add to the field in order to supply the necessary nutrients at minimal cost?

    Grams per cubic meter

    Mix A Mix B

    Nitrogen 10 5

    Potash 8 24

    Phosphoric acid 9 6

  • What is the best course to take in college?

I can't decide whether to take BS mathematics or BS physics. I like math because it is less on memorization otherwise in physics which has chemistry in it which requires much memorization but it is interesting. In math, you only see a great percentage of numbers and that's what makes it a little boring unlike the latter.

    Any advice?

MSG or monosodium glutamate can contribute to the production of cancer cells but is it conducive to stupidity?

My algebra teacher once said that students must avoid junk foods for the main reason that it contains MSG. I'm really curious if that's a fact.

I have this friend of mine who's being bullied like everyday. Like saying bad words whenever he speaks to him and leaving rough comments in social sites like facebook. Now I notice my friend to be more reticent and timid as before. Maybe frightened to whatever that "monster" would say to him.

  • Is PRIDE the most deadliest sin?

I've watched a really cool and awesome anime called 'Fullmetal alchemist: Brotherhood' and it emphasized that pride is the most deadliest desire. I want to know other opinions about that. It has been said that pride can lead to a downfall and that "truth" is what gives people despair when they have become arrogant.
