I am taking a programming class at my highschool and they use Macs. The teacher said that I can use the program that we will be using on Windows but he says it may be difficult for me to work with everyone since the instruction will be given on a Mac and most of my classmates will be using macs. I really dont like Mac OSX so I bought a Windows computer (before i knew about this) for school. My question is, do you think it will be difficult to work with Mac users on a Windows machine?

To make this a long story short: I can't charge my smartphone through the micro usb port. Is there any other way to charge the battery, any way at all? If you need info about the phone, just ask. I don't have a battery charger, like one of those that you plug into the wall and then put your batter in it. Is there a way to charge a phone battery without the phone??

I have Windows Essentials 2012. I use Movie Maker all the time on my Win7 PC. I have a Windows 8 PC that gives me this message every time I try to use it:

Last week We took my younger brother (8 years old) into the doctor because he was urinating very often and he was losing a lot of weight They checked him for and found out he has has type 1 diabetes. Thankfully, unlike most people, we caught it early and he never got sick.

Today my mom talked to a pediatrician and she said that all of the kids in our family should be tested. I don't really agree with that and I am wondering if I can get professional opinions. The reasons I don't think I should be tested is because:

1. According to the endocrinologist that we have spent quite a bit of time with the last week, there is a 1 in 30 chance that I would have it. Plus (this is my own theory) it would seem like the odds would even be higher of us getting it at the same time.

2. In the last week we spent a lot of time with many doctors, nurses and specialists. My mom asked every one of them if it would be better if we had found out about it earlier. She asked because she felt so bad that she didn't notice it earlier and she was blaming herself for him getting diabetes. They ALL said no. They said that we pretty much found out at a perfect time because he wasn't really sick and he can start insulin and everything. So why test for it now? I don't have any symptoms whatsoever.

3. The endocrinologist showed us the graph of the development of type 1 diabetes. It showed time and ketones. He made it sound like even if you test and see ketones, you could test again in a month or two (or whatever the amount of time was) and there might not be any because there is a point where the pancreas starts to produce more insulin again but it only lasts for a while and eventually it will make no insulin once diabetes is fully developed. So, as it is in this time period (the first about two thirds of the development) you can't even really treat it.

4. They also said that it doesn't really matter when you find out you have it. It won't cause any permanent damage. Once your pancreas completely stops producing insulin you are gonna get really sick and you'll find out then right?

It just seems to me that you could check today an there be no signs and then if you check next month there could be signs. I don't really know though because I'm not a doctor. Can I get some professional opinions? Can you fill me in on anything I don't know?

I took my hard drive form my old Windows XP PC and put it into my New custom PC. When I booted up and tried to log on, it said I have to activate Windows. I followed all of the steps but in the end it said my code didn't work.

The reason that I want to put the old HDD into the new PC is because

1. I have no HDD for my new PC. I know that I could easily just buy one but why should I?

2. I need all of the files and info from my old pc onto my new one

3. I want to upgrade from XP to Windows 8 but if I have no OS on my new PC I can't do that.

I have an old computer running XP. I have no hard drive for my new computer. I need all of the stuff on my XP computer to be transferred to my new computer. Can I just put the old computer's hdd into the new PC? Once the old hard drive is in the new computer I would want to upgrade from XP to Windows 7 or 8. Is this possible?

I have an old Toshiba running XP. I want to put a little more RAM in but before I buy I want to make sure I don't have to put a specific type of RAM in. I'm looking at Kingston 1GB 204-Pin DDR3 SO-DIMM. Can you tell me if that will work.

For 3-4 months my windows 7 PC has been telling me to backup my hard drive because it is bad. Well, I never did, and now half of the time when starting my pc it says, "reboot and select proper boot device" the other half of the time windows will start but once I log in the first time I click on anything it freezes, waits a minute and then restarts. I'm pretty sure the problem is the hard drive. I can start in safe mode and use command promp just fine. So I was wondering if I can backup my corrupt hard drive and back it up to another hard drive.

I'm wondering if boiling destroys more nutrients in the vegetables than deep frying does. Also does battering the vegetable help keep the nutrients in. I know it's a weird question. I'm only focusing on this specific question. I already know that deep frying is unhealthy. Thanks!
