I didn't even know you could write an "About me" section, cool. But yes, I had a previous file, but forgot its details, so I made a new E-mail and Answers account. I know in depth knowledge of the most popular TCG out there, Yu-Gi-Oh! So yeah, when I put RC-1 Judge, it basically means I'm a certified lv 1 Judge at Yugioh. I know most rulings, but I don;t usualy answer questions bases off decks, like to rate or fix(to lazy to read the entire list is basically what I'm trying to say). I am also a Frog Veteran, seeing as I played with Frog Monsters when they first came out in Cybernetic Revolution. So I know every ruling on frogs there is to know about. Anywho, besides that, I'm also thinking of answering Emotional and Family Oriented Questions around here, due to the classes I've taken on said subject and personal experiences. So hit me up for any questions you need answered from the above criteria I listed.

  • Computer says connected but can't connect to websites, games, etc?

It's my nieces comp, and basically it says connected, everything's okay, says the computer is connected to the router and the router to the internet. But I can't connect to any internet browsers or games like League or Smite, etc

So to not waste you're time, this is what I've tried/can't try due to reasons:

    1. Reset router and modem.

    2. Remove all malware and threats found by AVG and Malbytes.

    3. Reset the IP configuration settings using cmd.exe

    4. Uninstall the Wifi Adapter in Device Manager and reset so it could reinstall

    5. Uninstall all the stuff that was recently installed prior to the incident up to 3 days

    6. Check my firewall settings

    Things I cant do:

    1. System Restore, since I been working on it for 10 days, the last system restore was found to be on the day that the problem occurred.

    2. System Reboot, cause I don't have the recovery disk to reinstall windows 7.

It is a laptop, HP, with windows 7, for some basic information.

Please help, please and thank you.

  • Yahoo mail giving me wrong security question?

Okay, so I have 2 email accounts, one for business, one for other stuff. At a certain time, this account was given a question, "Who is your favorite uncle?" Added January 2009, as my security question. That's just it, that wasn't my question, i always use 2 questions for my security questions, and I don't even have Uncles I know, so this clearly wasn't me. I got it fixed by talking to support over the phone.

But the other account recently got the same thing, and the same question, "Who is your favorite uncle? Added on January 2009. But even if I contact someone on that, I don't know much of the account details, it was for... other stuff, so yeah. But I have really important contacts on that account. How can I go through this made up question without going to yahoo support? Or will Yahoo support still help me?

  • Can someone demand a tip back?

It's an old tale, from way back when, but I was on a run(pizza driver), and gave a customer their order. They gave me a 50$ for the payment, said I can keep the rest.

They call back saying we didn't give them Jalapenos(which we did, me and my coworker got the jalapenos and set up the bag, and it was recorded on camera), and put garlic sauce on the pizza( which we didn't do, also camera recorded) so they demanded a full refund.

So I understand in giving back the 47$ for their meal, but am I obligated to also give their tip back? If I refused to give them those 3$, what can legally occur?

  • Slow start up and shut down on laptop?

Just a few days ago it was fine, but the next day, I noticed that it was still on the logo screen for 5 minutes, and it took another 5 to 7 for it to even get into the log in screen.

Now, before I get all these suggestions, this is what I've tried already.

    -Cleaning my battery

-Cleaning up old files with CCleaner

-Removing a lot of unneeded and old programs

-Stopped several start up programs and services to ensure faster boot time

    -Defragmented my hard drive

-Updated any updates available to Windows or Vaio

-Made sure Internal Hard Drive is on top priority on my BIOS setting(could not find/was no option for fast boot)

-Made sure the value of my shutdown was 0 on my registry editor

-Scanned for Malware using Malwarebytes Antimalware, none found.

-Removing my old Anti-Virus(Kaspersky) and installing AVG

-Looked for any failed system updates, none detected.

    -Disc Drive work

Also, my computer has 6GB of RAM, and 447 GB free Memory, alongside 2.4 ghz(3.0 with turbo)

The last thing I'm attempting to do is find out if its caused by too many restore points, but Microsoft Support doesn't give me a link to the hotfix, and just tells me details of the binary setup, but no indication on what to do and how to do it.

So please, help me, I don't want to wait 12-15 minutes for a start up or shut down.

Any other things I can fix that may be causing the problem?

  • Someone put my number on craigslist?

This guy, I assume it's him cause he's the only one with enough hate towards me, got my number and now is putting in craigslist ads for dating. I got a lot of text and calls, and my number is very important job and financial wise, so I want to know how I can find this guys ISBN# and IP address, just to make sure it was really him, or reveal the real person behind this. How do I go about doing this?

  • So I just punctured my thumb and lost tons of blood....?

After an incident with a broken broom, my vision is fading and i can't hear as well as i used to. the hole is small, bout 1.5 cm in length, but deep enough to see my thumbs tendon. Should i be worried? How much would stitches costs? How long for a recovery? Can I heal it without stitches? How long for that? Also I have no insurance and I can't feel my thumb too well. Plus I am pale and I'm mexican. That's saying something. And if you're curious why I haven't gone to the hospital, no health insurance, a DUUUUUUHHHHHHHHH!

  • What does it mean 3.1 gH with Turbo?

It says the gH are 2.2 gH, but in parenthesis it says 3.1 gH with Turbo.

Is turbo referring to the internet, like TWC offers Turbo broadband, or what?

Will it be 2.2 gH or 3.1 gH when I'm on it?

  • What's with all the breast cancer awareness?

What is with all the promotion for breast cancer awareness? Shouldn't schools already have this covered in health, p.e., etc? Why must we promote it with bracelets, shirts, etc? When does it actually occur to women, age group?

  • College worth our time...?

Considering debt, economy, unemployment, etc, is it really worth going to college?

I'm trying to conduct research for college and I need help.

By answering the following through personal experience, I'd like to collect some data both from opinion and factual information.

    1. "What kind of college did you go to?"

    2. "For what reasons did you go for?"

    3. "How much was your tuition?"

    4. "How did you deal with financial expenses? (Financial aid, scholarship, grant, etc.)"

    5. "Will you be in debt when you leave college? If so, how much?"

    6. "Do you feel getting a job will be/was a given when you graduate/d college?"

I need all the data I can gather.
