Im planning to buy the Alienware M11X laptop because of its addded portablity.

Its specifications are

2nd generation Intel® Core™ i7-2617M 1.5GHz (2.6GHz w/Turbo Boost, 4MB Cache)

4GB 1333MHz DDR3 SDRAM

Dual graphics with Intel HD Graphics 3000 and 2.0GB DDR3 NVIDIA GeForce GT 540M

I just wanted to know which laptop will give better performance.

I use the laptop primarily for running design and CAD softwares like ADAMS, CATIA, ANSYS, Solidworks.

Also quite often games like NFS SHIFT, Hot pursuit, F1 2010

i have two flats in a co-operative housing society and an using two rooms of each flat as an office but the remainder of the flat is my residence.

Some of the society members are objecting to this and threaten to take legal action.
