My 21 year old son and his gf were asked to leave my home in September. They were extremely resentful, although neither had contributed a cent of their salaries to the rent or utilities in nine months of occupancy. Now, it's my son's birthday, and I have no idea where he's living. Should I send a card to the auto shop where I know he works?

Moved to this house off the Shark River inlet in New Jersey, and there's a tall (window height) bush next to the patio. Ever since the little pebble-like flower buds appeared (white, and very clustered), we've had a convention of flies.

Now that the flowers have opened - they're x-shaped, waxy and about 1/2" in diameter - the flies are in a frenzy. I've never seen anything like it! Any idea what kind of bush it might be? There's no perceptible scent, and there aren't flies on any of the other bushes. Also, would the ziplog bag filled with water idea work to deter them?

...I KNOW I read one where the demons of Chaos are trying to cross over into the Imperial Empire, but I can't seem to find it. All I can find are "A Hero Born" and "An Enemy Reborn" -- is there another one about Chaos?

I do remember reading something about a catapult to send the demons across the barrier...?

perfect? What makes a perfectionist so different from everyone else that THEIR efforts must be perfect? And, what toll does this take on self-esteem?

I did -- when I was about 16, I was in New York City with some friends and Eric Burdon of the Animals walked into the record shop I was in. It was so great, I almost fainted! (Hey, I was 16, okay?)
