Just as the question reads, when I place my laptop down on my desk, sometimes it immediately goes to sleep. I pick it up, it turns back on, I sit it down, it turns back off. This makes no sense to me. I have made sure that the fans are not being blocked (the fans are not under the laptop, but along the back side) so it is not an overheating problem. As far as I can tell, there is no sensor of any kind underneath it that would tell it to sleep when covered. That would actually be the stupidest design choice for a laptop. I have an Acer Predator Helios 300. It's relatively new, about two or three years old. I've never dropped it or anything so I really don't know what the problem could be. I've also searched everywhere on the internet for someone with a similar problem to mine, but can't find any answers.

I'm currently a seasonal hire at Macy's, and when I first got the job I was eager to work as many days as I possibly could, so I just accepted any available shift I saw without thinking. Now that Christmas is here, I realized that I accepted a shift for the day after Christmas, but I'm out of town visiting family. I tried calling them but obviously they're closed because it's Christmas, and by tomorrow it'll be too late. I've been told you can call out of a shift from the In-Site website, but the only options I'm given are "Swap this shift", "Cover this Shift (which is grayed out)", and "Advertise this Shift (Also Grey).

Me and my buddy were planning on playing zombies (Black Ops 3) with a few of our other friends, but he had the game uninstalled. So he tried to reinstall it, it took all night, then when it was finally finished and he tried to open it, it said the game data was corrupt and that he should try uninstalling and reinstalling it again. He's done that 3 times now with no luck. The game was purchased from the Xbox Marketplace on the console, and before now he says that this has never happened to him despite buying all of his games from there. I've never heard of this before either, and a simple Google search didn't help. Has anyone experienced this and is there a way to fix it?

I ve only played the Destiny demo, and got my Warlock to lvl 7. I just bought TTK today and there s still so much of the game I haven t seen. I was wondering if I should use my Spark of Light? I feel like skipping to Lvl 25 would ruin the fun of the game. Am I wrong? Am I right?

I just signed into SMITE (Xbox One) and randomly unlocked Sun Wukong, and his Silver Sage skin. I searched the internet to see if this is triggered by some kind of requirement but i can't find anything on it. Why did I just get this skin for free?

I downloaded YouTube on my brand new Galaxy S3 and all of my videos play in black and white, and are also chopped up like a jigsaw puzzle. What's the problem?

Next to an item you want to purchase, it will normally state "Add to Cart", or "Pre-Order Now" but this limited edition console I wanted says "Not Available" next to it. Does that mean it's sold out? Because just yesterday when I looked at it, it said Pre-Order.

I bought a copy of Custom Robo for the Gamecube on eBay. The seller says the game worked perfectly for him, but for me, it never works. He told me he could pay for me to get it repaired (it is heavily scratched) but I don't even know where to go to do that.

My 360 Slim broke but i still have the hard drive with all of my data so if i upgrade to the next Xbox, can i still use my hard drive?

I'm trying to cut down on RAM usage so my computer will run video games better. Whenever i start up my laptop a bunch of programs open themselves. I tried closing ones that didn't sound important and ended up erasing everything on my desktop. So i restarted my computer completely. What tasks must be open constantly?

Are they creepypasta? Are they just stand-alone fiction? Or are they real things discovered by humans? Also how are there so many? Do people write new ones constantly?

My mom had an accident 10 days ago (Friday the 13th) and that day, she was taken to Kaiser Permanente Anaheim by ambulance. When we got there to pick her up we found out that she needed surgery on her right hand to repair a ripped tendon. She can't move her middle finger as is. So, they tell us to make sure we call our local Kaiser and set up an appointment on Monday. They said they would send a referral. So Monday morning, we call at 6 AM. They pick up. As we're telling them about what happened, they cant find my mom's referral. So we go through a wild goose chase until 11 AM when we find out that they sent the referral to the wrong hospital. Once they finally get the referral to the right place, it's already Tuesday. They tell us that now we have to go to our local kaiser and talk to them. So we do, they still can't do my mom's surgery because "Anaheim Kaiser did not tell them that she needed surgery". SO, they check out my mom's arm and then give her a cast and tell us that now they need to find a surgeon who can do it. They schedule my mom's surgery for today (Monday, it's been 10 days!) at Ontario Kaiser for 12 AM. We go there, they don't know what we're talking about and tell us the appointment was supposed to be at Fontana Kaiser at 3:15 PM -.- Kaiser screws up so much and my mom may lose her middle finger now that they took so long. I've read online that you only have a week max to get it fixed. I wanna sue if my mom loses her finger. Can i win against them in court?

I hear mixed talk but nothing about this on Nintendo's actual page.

I sold my 3DS on eBay awhile back to get a new one, but my "plan" fell through the cracks and i just ended up with 125 dollars in my hand, and no DS. Now i want another one, but on my last DS, i had downloaded a few games from the eShop (Fire Emblem Awakening, Photo Dojo, etc.) and I want them back when i get my new DS. Can i re-download them from the eShop without having the previous 3DS in hand?

Despite the amazing trailer, the thing im most excited for is the inclusion of characters from PowerStone. Although, i don't own dead rising and since the DLC released, well today, there are no lists on the internet about which characters are playable. Anyone know which characters are usable from PowerStone?

Just asking because KH 1.5 said it had 358 Days/2 but they were just cutscenes.

Ok so i'm a big fan of online games, Call of Duty, League of Legends, etc. My internet is however, complete garbage. I can only do one thing at once with my weak connection, and whenever i decide that i want to play a game, my sister causes me to lag by using the connection for her laptop. It's very frustrating, especially when i'm playing the equivalent of a "ranked game" kinda mode on various games, where the win or loss will effect my ladder standings. So, how can i stop her from using the internet whenever she wants? She owns and iPod, a Laptop, and a phone that are all connected already. Is there a way i can just set my internet to not allow her to connect? Thanks in advance for all answers :D

Also, is there a way to see every item that is connected to my WiFi?
