When I was in high school, I read a poem about Oppenheimer and his morning coffee; when he dropped his sugar cubes into his cup, it was an allegory for the atomic bomb. Who wrote the poem and what was it called?

I remember watching a horror movie when I was much younger from the eighties or maybe early nineties. In it, there were four teenagers who went into an amusement park and talked to a creepy guy in a throne-like chair, and he laughed at them, pulled a lever (maybe a switch or button), and they fell through the floor into a roller coaster cart. The roller coaster zipped along the track, scaring them that the low curves would knock off their heads, and the ride ended by tossing them into a fiery bin. I'm just really curious because it's obviously stuck in my head well.
