I just finished my first semester of college and I'm on winter break now but honestly this whole semester has been a roller coaster for me and I just want this break to be over so I can just have something to do. I'm only highlighting the important parts just to build the picture.

1.) It's been a little over a month since I got out of my first serious relationship, we broke up 1 month before our year anniversary. I'm know I'm getting better and starting to feel like my old self but it's a hard transition to not talk to them, and just being on your own again

2.) This was post break-up but one of my closest friends I made at college, I'm not on the best terms with at the moment. We both have been close but at a small party we had, he got a little tipsy, I got a little tipsy, I'll let you out 2 and 2 together (also he was flirting with me months beforehand so this wasn't just a random drunk make-out session) but I realized that I really did like him but of course he made a 180 degree turn which upset me and we got into a fight over it but he eventually realized he was being an *** and was truly sorry for hurting me. But we've hardly talked over the break regardless and honestly this whole break

I was just really looking forward to hanging out with him and having a nice time but I've just been moping around the house the whole break. I'm also having doubts about what career I want it's gotten to the point where I can't fall sleep anymore. I just feel really lonely and unhappy.

I'm a hostess (and just started working as a waitress) at a fine dining restaurant and I've been working there for about 4 months now. I've never been late, always come into work early, always do my job, been told that I'm a hard worker, even the best hostess there. One of the hostesses there asked me to cover her shift today (today was my day off) and I completely forgot about. She came in for her shift and I eventually get a call from the assistant manager just politely asking me to just be more careful in the future. I've pulled multiple double shifts covering for 2 people in the past on my days off and I can't believe I forgot to cover her shift! I never forget these things and I feel SO horrible about it! My manager has a lot of faith and trust in me and even let me become a waitress and I've let him down and feel like such a horrible employee. I'm working tomorrow but I'm bringing in an apology card for him and maybe a treat. I just feel so horrible about this. This is my first job ever and I feel so blessed to be working at such a wonderful place but I just feel so horrible and guilty about this.

Over the past years, especially this one, my relationship with my sister has unfortunately deteriorated. I don't know why or what has caused this and I wish we could have a better relationship because one day we'll only have each other (it's just me and her, no other siblings, I'm the you get one). I'm 18 (almost 19) and she is 21.

We're both very different people. To be honest, she is like a Barbie girl. I don't see her socialize with anyone besides my parents. She used to hang out with friends when she was in high school but she doesn't hang out with anyone anymore. Now for me I'm no social bug but I get out of the house once a week with my bf (She doesn't have a bf but I don't think that's what the problem is from) or so and I don't like being super dressy.

She's a real estate agent, a yoga instructor, and almost became a model. And I'm a waitress at a high-class restaurant so I'll be making decent cash like her. She used to be a bad kid in high school but pulled herself together and graduated a year early. I always tried to stay out of trouble in hs. I got good grades, was in honors, won scholarships, placed well in acting and art competitions.

She acts annoyed every time she talks to me. She always gives me dirty looks, but she always smiles and laughs with my parents. Honestly she treats our dog better than me. If I ever ask how her day was or compliment her, she just ignores me or responds with a dirty look. I just wish she wasn't so hateful towards me.

I'm hearing people say that it's water vapor but then I hear people say it's liquid water so I'm totally lost on which one it actually is. So which form of water is the most dense? Ice, liquid, or gas? And why is that? Accurate answers would be much appreciated!

Ok so long story short, I started talking to this guy. He's 20 and in college, I'm 18 and a senior in high school. Whenever we talk, he always compliments me and tells me how awesome I am and everything. We have a alot in common and we're gonna hang out at the movies but I don't know if he likes me and if it's a date and what not. I don't know whether he's just being really nice because he told me he doesn't like that many people but he's really cute and I can't imagine a college guy like him being into a girl like me. Yada, yada, yada, you guys get the point. There's a lot more conversations like that and we talk all day every day when he isn't in class or at work. So do you guys think he likes me?

So alot of things have been going on lately and they've all piled up against me. I feel like I'm bombarded with one bad thing after the other. I do my best to keep my chin up and just brave through it but, just, I don't really feel like I'm getting anywhere. I'm a tough cookie and I always do my best to push through things no matter how hard they are but this time, I just don't have that will. Now don't get me wrong I don't feel suicidal at all, I'll never do something like that ever but I guess I just need a pat on the back or a little assurance is all. Heres what I've got going on:

-The dental hygiene program at the college I'm going to which is the only one my parents can afford only accepts 15 out of the 300 students that apply (I'm gonna be a senior in high school when the summer is over so I guess I don't have to worry about that too bad right now)

-I found out I have to take chemistry before I can even apply for the program but I have no room in my schedule to fit that in there

-I don't want to take it online because I'll already be taking 5 AICE classes so I'm not gonna have time for myself (AICE classes are like AP classes, they're college-leveled classes that you can take for free)

-I took up all of those AICE classes to begin with because I was hoping I could go to a University but I didn't find out until I signed up for all these classes that I can't go there due to financial reasons. And its too late to switch out of them

-After finding a special person to show me what love is after my past relationships ending in either the guy telling lies about me to everyone or they just wanted me for my body, I find out I'm going to be losing him because hes going off to college in a different country (its already long distance but now this just impossible). He doesn't think it'll work out so I don't think we can be in a relationship after hes off to college

-By the time I finally got my parent's blessing for him to visit me, its too late for him to come here, there just isn't enough time left for him.

-Its just really hard to let go of someone like that because we've never fought or anything, he knew how afraid I was of relationships but he was always loving and patient with me, always treating me with kindness

I just wake up now feeling nothing but despair, like all hope is lost. I don't feel like eating (I'm not starving myself at all or anything, I just don't feel hungry). So just a little pat on the back and some assurance would be great. Thankyou for reading this and I apologize for how long it is.

I have to do an essay for U.S. History on which view of the Constitution I support. The Original Intent document (This means that the Constitution says what it says. You can’t change it unless by). Or the Living Document (The Constitution is designed to change with times). I'm supporting the living document but I want to know if the Original Intent only includes the first 10 Amendments because if it does then that means there was no freedom from slavery, womens suffrage, or equality between man and women. But I don't want those to be my reasons to support the Living Document when they could actually fall in the Original Intent View. Please let me know ASAP

I was watching the trailer for The Walking Dead season 3 and I fell in love with the second song that was playing. I tried to make out the lyrics but it was hard to because people were talking over the song but this is what I was able to get out of the song "when everything is turned to black you don't know where to go, the weight you feel has knocked you down...everything you know is caving in lyrics" I tried to find the lyrics for it but no luck. If anyone knows the name of the song I would greatly appreciate it! I'll put the link for the trailer below :)

I need with some questions for my test corrections. I just can't figure out these questions. Math was always my worse subject. Please show the work if possible. Help much appreciated!

-Find the circumcenter of triangle ABC with vertics A(-2,4), B(-2,-2), and C(4,-2)

-Write and equation in point-slope form for the perpendicular bisector of the segment with endpoints A(-2,2) and B(5,4)

Mine would be in middle school, years 6-8. I hated it the entire time I was there. I had only 2 friends and they were a grade ahead of me so I was all lonely in 8th grade. I got bullied in 6th grade. My 8th grade math teacher was horrible! She would yell at me if I got a question wrong so I was too afraid to ask her for help, so I struggled to pass the class. Math was my weak subject so that didn't help at all. But now I'm a soon to be 11th grader and I love my high school!

I'm a 16 year old 10th grader and I have to take confirmation class (of course its my parents who want me to take it). I have to finish this 250 paged book about religion (not the bible) within a month before I start the classes. I do believe in God but I don't think you should have to go to church to prove your loyalty in him (I pray every night before I go to bed). In fact the only time my family does go to church is when my grandparents visit. What should I watch out for in the class? Do I have to take any actual tests? Could I get away with putting my head down? What if I get asked a religious question? Answers to these much appreciated!

Im doing a project for my Culinary and I am in charge of the operating costs. I know different states have different laws and such but in the state of FL, does a food and meat permit ever expire? And if so do you have to replace it and how much would it cost?

I can see this from the woman's view since I am a girl but what was a man's view to equal rights? BTW-This is just my opinion but if I was back in the 1920s-1950s, I would never stand for the discrimination no matter how much shame I would have to bear if anything, I would march down to the white house and yell at everyone ;)

I saw a funny Allstate Mayhem commercial where Dean Winters is in the back seat of a car acting like a little kid screaming mommy. I tried to look for it on Youtube but no luck. Anybody know where I can find it? Besides waiting for it to be on TV? Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Time is going by so fast. I only have 2 more days of school and i can remember perfectly of my first day of school. It's like i blink for one second and boom school is over! I am a freshman who is a soon-to-be sophomore. Before I know it, i will be a senior. Damn....I just can't believe how fast the school year has been......

Next year I am taking Drama I and they will be having the play: The Little Shop of Horrors. I really want to play Audrey Fulquard but i am not the greatest singer but i will be teaching myself how to sing over the summer. I can do her voice but i can't do her NY accent. I would really appreciate any advice of how to get her accent.

Back in April the guy I REALLY liked finally asked me and of course i said yes. But after that he didn't talk to me around his friends and we didn't even get a chance to actually go out. 3 days after he asked me out we ended our so-called relationship over a text. I was heartbroken. I don't really get a a lot of guys swooping over me and the relationships i did have were not even that serious. So i thought i was finally going to have a serious relationship. I ignored him for the first week after we broke up (still upset we broke up). But then he apologized and we were just normal friends. But now he has a new girlfriend. He announced his relationship on Facebook (he never did any of that and i don't think anyone even knew we were together except my sis) and always talks to her but barely says a word to me. I feel like i was thrown in the dirt and that he doesn't even care about my feelings. I know its immature to be mad at him but i can''t help it. What do you guys think? PS: I am almost 16 if that helps :)

I have a 4 year old Maltese dog and whenever he gets excited he has asthma attacks. He has had since he was a puppy so I just try to calm him down whenever he gets them. Do you guys have a dog that has this problem?
