Dear everyone,

I have been studying Czech for a while and I found that my major problem is remembering words to use them in conversation.

For example, when I read through a list of words I have studied a while earlier, it's easy to point out which means which.

The problem is that I cannot remember them well enough to use them on the spot.

Any tips? Thanks in advance!

I ve always wondered about this. Not that me and my girlfriend have plans to have children anytime soon, but I m just really curious :)

Wouldn t the children get confused and mix up the two languages?

Would you maybe have to introduce them to the first language at first for a couple of years, then switch over to the second language, or what?

I would really like someone to advice me about Xanax, please

Long story:

A few weeks ago I smoked weed on my own, and I suddenly got in a really negative state which triggered a panic attack. My heart rate wouldn't slow down, so I asked my roommate to call the ambulance.

They scanned me, gave me some calming pills and after a while it seemed to be all okay.

Two weeks passed without any sign of trouble, as a sudden panic attack woke me up from my sleep. It was an aggressive dream which triggered it.

This time my girlfriend was sleeping next to me, and I woke her up to call the ambulance... they arrived and took it a bit lightly, apparently it was a short panic attack which calmed down by itself eventually.

They advised me to stop by my doctor the next day. So I did, and they prescribed me Xanax and told me to take 1 pill/0,5mg before going to sleep every night.

I have been taking the pills for over a month now, and even though it protected me from most anxiety, I think my body is starting to reject it. The last few days my heart has been beating really hard, and I have the feeling it has to do with the pills.

Next week I will visit the psychiatrist to help me control my anxiety. But until then I'm not sure what to do. I cannot find any medical person with expertise in Xanax around here.

Should I skip the pill for one night and see what happens?

Please share with me your advise.

I've been through a stressful period of time recently, and I've noticed I have started losing a lot of hair and gaining bald spots.

My age is only 21, so this shouldn't really be happening.

For our next Czech class we have to write a short story about a famous person in our home country without actually mentioning the person's name. The other students will have to guess this person's name through careful listening. Now I finished writing the short story, but without my full confidence. Because I'm sure there are still lots of grammar errors.

Of course it cannot yet be perfect since I'm still in an early stage of studies, and I even had to look up some words which I hadn't learned yet.

If any of you is a native or at least fluent Czech speaker, could you please point out some of my mistakes to help me see what I can improve on? Thanks in advance.

I have a Lenovo G505s laptop with an AMD AVG or something. The specifications are somewhat unclear.

It natively only supports Windows 8, but I managed to install Windows 7 on it.

I've never seen one in real life, and in a lot of cases people confuse them with harps.

Also they don't seem to be for sale anywhere.

My previous phone just passed away last month, so I'm looking for a new one.

And so these two phones seem to be within my preferred quality and price range.

I just can't quite figure out what the differences are.

Every once in a while I tend to experience a strange kind cramps around and in my heart area, and lately it has been getting worse and more painful.

Last week I've talked to a doctor about it and he said it's most likely due to emotional stress, and I should find a psychiatrist to talk to.

The thing is, there's much going on in my life right now and I don't really have the time for treatment from a psychiatrist.

I'm not sure what to do, but it worries me. Should I maybe visit a hospital? Or do you have any other tips?

Lately my body has become extremely picky over what I should drink.

Local tap water tends makes to make gag. Juices usually seem to trigger an extreme acid reflux. Milk gives me stomach aches. Alternative milk usually doesn't do much better. Too much drinks with caffeine in them makes my heart go crazy.

Is there anything left? :(

Whenever I slightly touch/poke someone, sometimes a static charge occurs. It doesn't hurt, but it's a bit startling.

I think it has to do with the exchange of positive and negative sub-atomic particles in atoms/ions.

Can anyone clarify this?

Well, I had a dream about chemistry last night and there was one formula that kept appearing in my textbook. So now I'm wondering if it even exists and what it actually is.

The downside is, I have no idea what elements were actually used in the formula, but I was hoping it would be possible to identify it by just looking at the structure.

I'm trying to format my hdd, but this error keeps popping up.

When I try to reinstall Windows 7 it keeps telling me "Windows cannot be installed on this disk. The disk may fail soon. If other had disks are available, install Windows to another location."

Well, thank you for your advice Windows and HP, you have been a great pain in the *** -_-

I also tried installing Debian and Ubuntu, but it also won't let me because the "smart disk is having trouble and will fail imminently" or something like that.

Do any of you people know how to fix this?

I have been an avid pc gamer for years now, and since a few years ago my vision started becoming extremely unfocused and sometimes very blurry. I hoped it would be some temporal dizziness, but it isn't.

Just about recently I found out my right eye (iris and pupil) position was a rough millimeter higher than my left eye, and it kind of worried me.

Is there anything you could suggest me to treat this annoying condition?

I'm looking to buy an iPhone, my old cellphone died already a few months ago and I figured it's time for a new.

The only problem is... I live in the Netherlands, and as you may know it's just ridiculously expensive over here.

In the US the price of an Iphone goes from $199 and up, in the Netherlands that is €599, which is $780! Seriously? Holy **** Apple.

Apparently only the rich hipsters here are allowed to buy an iPhone.

Now I'm wondering, isn't there any way to order one from the US? Without all the region-bound restrictions perhaps?

Please, help me if you know anything...
