  • Leonardo Da Vinci Quote...Need Accurate Translation?

I'm thinking of getting "Who sows virtue reaps honor" as a tattoo. I would like to have the phrase inked in Italian. However, these things are permanent and I don't want to make the mistake of having the quote mistranslated (I've heard some pretty bad stories of tattoo mishaps) All of the online translators come up with the same thing so don't bother because I've already done that. What I would like is someone who teaches Italian or is fluent in the language to tell me if "Chi semina la virtù miete l'onore" is the correct translation. I'll focus on learning to pronounce it later, I just want to make sure that it is accurate.

Please no guesses, and don't bother lecturing me on getting a tattoo (It's my body) and at least it's not barbwire on the bicep.

  • Should I date this girl?

I'm a 21 year old and she's 18. We've worked at the same place for half a year. We instantly hit it off and have had a good friendship ever since. There has been a lot of playful flirting and subtle gestures, but the only reason I haven't asked her out was because she's had a boyfriend. (Until the other day...) She comes into work, walks over to me, skips the usual chit-chat and proceeds straight to informing me that she had broken up with him. I told her that I knew break-ups were tough and that if she needed someone to talk to or just hang out with she has my number. She replied with a big smile and we've recently kicked the flirting into high gear. I'm extremely attracted to her and her personality, and I've been waiting for the opportunity to date this girl since I've known her BUT.... now that I actually have the chance, I'm having second thoughts. I know that relationships between co-workers can get sticky, and I'm wondering if she is mature enough to not let it get weird at work. I don't want to put either one of us that position, because I've been there before and it sucks. But I can't help myself when it comes to this girl.

By the way: Don't bother warning me that she could be unfaithful, due to the fact that she flirted with me before she was single. I learned a long time ago that everybody has the potential to cheat. If I didn't want to get involved in relationships because I thought my girlfriend might cheat on me, I would never date.

  • IPhone or Blackberry...Which one is best for me?

I have an ipod 8g Nano so I'm familiar with the controls of Apple products. I love the different apps u can get and I think the layout is well suited for me. However, my brother has a Blackberry and he never complains about loading time or signal. So basically it comes down to Verizon or AT&T. I would rather have the IPhone, but I'm tired of AT&T's crappy reception. Which one has a fairly manageable Data Plan? I would definitely be making use of the internet capabilities, so which one provides the most user friendly browser tools. If I'm buying one of these phones I want it to be what it's supposed to be...A Cell Phone/Thats Also A Computer.

Now, which phone should I be looking at???

  • Should I succumb to the temptations of purchasing an Xbox 360?

Since the xbox 360 made it's debut, I have vowed to one day claim one as my own. However, since I am no stranger to video games and how much time and money goes into games, I have been reluctant to purchase the console. It doesn't help matters, that every one I know who owns an xbox 360 has had to have some form of repair or technical support with the unit. And that's not an exaggeration (literally everyone I've asked) Which sucks because I am an xbox guy. I've experienced all consoles and I just prefer the game selection and controller layout of the xbox. But with Microsoft reducing the price of the elite, and christmas bonuses aplenty, not to mention the tax return check early next year, the urge to pull out the wallet and walk out of Best Buy with the big black box will be too unbearable. My question is this: I don't want to get too wrapped up in purchasing games so what do you believe would be the best plan of action.

A.) Find an affordable rate on a trusted online game rental service.

B.) Buy a handful of "gameplay abundant" titles.

C.) Don't buy the Xbox 360. Wait until the price goes down.

Do not waste your time suggesting the PS3 or Wii. It's just not going to happen. Nothing against Sony or Nintendo. It's just not gonnna happen.

  • The hell is that stuff?

So you know when you are walking into a gas station and you notice a small puddle of water on the ground. Usually it is a mixture of rainwater and oil that has leaked from various vehicles. It generally has a rainbow texture to it( you can clearly see an array of colors) So what I'm wondering is, why do I see the same kind of stuff on the lunch meat I buy at the deli. Is this some kind of preservative that they put on the meat to keep it fresh longer. I'm sure it is not unsafe to eat I just wanted to know what I'm putting in my mouth. Any help?

  • Which Movie Should I Watch First?

I recently embarked on a personal mission to see some of the great classics that I have missed out on over the years. I'm a huge fan of cinema, however I noticed that I had not seen many movies that are considered masterpieces. I have, in the past month, finally seen The Godfather, Full Metal Jacket, Memento, Apocalypse Now, Citizen Kane, Chinatown, Lawrence of Arabia, 2001 A Space Odyssey, and The Silence of the Lambs. I can't believe that I've waited so long to see such great film-making, but oh well, better late than never. Anyway, I've got a few more stops on this journey through Hollywood royalty and I would like to hear your thoughts on which exit I should take first. Next on the agenda were: Schindler's List, The Godfather Pt.II, and The Deer Hunter. Which one should I watch first? Feel free to leave suggestions for other classics, but don't just give me a list of your favorite movies.

  • What Xbox Game should I get?

I'm about to purchase a 360 console for my apartment and I have a 40" Sony Bravia. I was wondering, what game should I buy first to really get the full gaming experience? Besides the Orange Box, of course.

  • See If You Can Name This Movie?

This is a quote from an old movie that I really like. It is not very well known so I'm not sure how effective it would be searching the internet for the answer, you might just have to know the movie.

Sam : Is this the driver?

    Josh : No.

Derek : Yes, and I'm drivin' you boys to get a big juicy steak and some of them big french fries, now how does that sound to you?

Sam : I think I'd like to go straight to Canada, right now!

  • Question Concerning GTA San Andreas (100% Completion)?

I'm trying to make a run at 100% completion w/ no codes. I've already completed all of the story missions, tags, horseshoes, oysters, photo ops, and a few other tasks. I was wondering, for anyone who has completed the game 100%, what did you find to be the most difficult of the odd jobs such as vigilante, taxi fares, etc. And when it was all said and done, did it feel like it was worth it? Did you feel that satisfaction of a job well done, that I hope to experience myself.

  • Workout Question, Any Pointers?

I recently put on about 40 pounds of extra body mass and now I would like to start doing cardio to trim down some of the fat. I'm going to continue my strength training but I'll just take it a little easier, maybe less weight more reps. I was wondering, after I get down to my ideal weight will I be able to continue to add a little bit of muscle or will I be just maintaining that particular frame. Basically, can I add muscle while still doing cardio, or will I have to cut out the cardio and start eating like a horse again.

  • Computer lost DVD playing capabilities, any suggestions?

I recently bought a new hard drive for my HP Pavillion and I have Windows XP installed. I downloaded all of the service packs and software updates but somewhere in the midst of everything I lost my dvd decoder. My default media software is Windows Media Player. I was wondering if there was a way to simply download the codec for my existing program or would I have to download a new media player that includes the decoder?

  • Has anyone ever heard this song?

It seems like the artist's name was cikora, secada, sikora, or something along those lines but I know he or she is not well known. The song is like a trance/club kind of groove with a sample of Nate Dogg in the background continuously saying the word GO. I don't think there will be a single person who has a clue what I'm talking about, but if someone out there has heard this song, please help me.
