My ribbon plant, near and dear to my heart, has lost some of its lower leaves. I water it once or twice a week, but it looks like a three foot tall palm tree, and looks like a gust of wind will snap it's tiny little body in half. Should I put it in a larger pot with new/more fertilizer? Is there any way to make it a little stronger? Is it doomed to resemble a palm tree for the rest of its life?

I'm not sure if this has to do with language packs or something else, but I've looked at the Java website and other places to try and find a solution. One place said that there was a way to add Japanese fonts to Java, and another said that there was an International version of Java (as opposed to regional language packs, etc.).

I'm seriously considering changing to ubuntu, but I want to know that it will keep installed programs, files, etc. And will ubuntu run the programs I used with vista (photoshop, sims, etc.)? I'm also tempted to put ubuntu on my parents' computer, and would like some opinions on the system, as well as what people think of it compared to vista and xp.

When searching on this computer, the search either doesn't go through or it just brings up false links to sites trying to sell things. Malwarebyte's Anti-Malware program doesn't find anything while looking, and the search engine is google. The results page also shows a google.com web address.

I'm checking out some filters for my 35mm, and I wondered if the filters used for digital cameras, slr cameras, etc. would work with it. I'm looking to add a filter to a 52 mm zoom lens, and a lot of the filters I look at are for the SLR cameras.

Are there any kits or devices that can connect Led lights to an mp3 or cd player and make them flash in time with the music? I do not want computer programs, as it has to be portable.

I want to change the addresses in the dropdown address. I know how to change the number of addresses, or make the dropdown not show any, but I want different addresses there (like change msn.com to deviantart.com).

Whenever I try to send a message using Outlook Express, the internet shuts down as soon as I press the "Send" button. I've read through a few questions and answers and someone pointed out that programs running in the background may have something to do with the internet not working. AVG does a daily scan, and I was wondering if while it scanned, it may affect my internet connection whenever I try to send something out or receive something. Any ideas/answers? Wondering if anyone else has had this problem before.

Any way to put a password on the flash drive? Bought it at Staples for $10, I believe. Would love to be able to password protect it, but I don't know how I would go about doing it. I have Vista, if it makes any difference.

Not sure where this horse came from. He's likely half quarter horse, not sure if he may have some Tennessee Walker in him. He has a brand on his upper right rump and on his left hip. The left hip is either an upside-down "g" or a backwards "6", and the right rump is a "B 3" freeze brand. Not sure where he came from, or if there are any registries with brand pictures, descriptions, etc. If anyone knows the brand or any additional information, it'd be pretty neat. We don't know his history, we got him off a slaughter truck which probably came from out west. Many people have wondered if he is part Tennessee Walker, so any information on either his identity or where the brands may be from would be appreciated.

Summary:

Brand on left hip is either upside down "g" or backwards "6"

Freeze brand on right rump is "B 3"

I'm looking for a manga series called "Dolls" by naked ape, and wish to buy the Japanese version since it appears as though it hasn't been licensed in English (I have conflicting reports). I was wondering if there was an ENGLISH website (I am horrid at reading kanji and can't find my way around on a lot of Jap. sites) where they sold the untranslated versions of the books. Any help is appreciated, even if you simply give me a website (I can probably go from there to find the actual manga).

I live in Maine, and am currently looking for a place that sells wholesale jewelry supplies, mainly Jump rings. I'd rather go to an actual store, if possible, but if someone has a website with a catalogue which is mailed, and has reasonable prices on jump rings, then that information would be appreciated. I'm going to need a LOT of rings, so any help is appreciated (working on Maille project). Also, if anyone has information on "Wigjigs," or any other jump ring-producing product, then I could use that too.

I have been riding a registered appaloosa, Bittersweet Smoke, and he was bred in Hallowell Maine. I know his parents (Sweet Sable and Bitterroot Sheik) and his reistration jumber, but I have not been able to find out which registry he was a part of, or his family past his parents. I checked allbreedpedigree,com, or whatever it is, but there is only a name "Bitterroot Sheik," no additional information besids the name. Does anyone know how I could go about finding his information, or any ideas, or is there an extremely low rate of success?

It was a few years back when I heard a really catchy song on a sneaker commercial, or something like that. It had lyrics that were something like "So do you wanna do this," sung by a male singer, with what sounded like shouting teenagers in the background shouting "Just do it!"
