  • Does Mayweather fighting Canelo prove, once and for all, that he is not afraid of Pac?

Between the two, I consider Canelo, at this stage in the game, to be a much bigger threat to Mayweather than Manny Pac ever was. Canelo is bigger, stronger, much more durable and YOUNG. Its not going to be an easy fight for Floyd no matter what. Does taking this fight finally dispel the idea that Floyd Mayweather is not afraid of Manny Pac?

  • Lucas Matthysse versus Adrienne Broner?

Since it was totally agreed upon Floyd would hammer Lucas, lets even it out a little. Who would win this battle?

  • Lucas Matthysse vs Floyd Mayweather, catch weight, who wins?

So lets say that Floyd gets a little daring do, and Matthysse puts on say three or four pounds. Lets put the all offense and chin Lucas versus the darling of the defense Floyd, who wins?

  • Floyd Mayweather Jr. Versus Sugar Ray Robinson?

Ive been inspired by a question I just answered. As many are beginning to consider Floyd a greatest pound for pound of all time, lets put him in against the greatest pound for pound of all time. Who wins and why? Give me the round per round.

  • Manny Pac Vs Brandon Rios? Whos Cherry Picking NOW?

Ok Pac Fans, get your humble out cause you know its coming.

Both Freddie Roach and Mannys management have said they want Rios BECAUSE he is more hittable, and by fighting him they can keep Manny in the top ten without risking Manny too much and snap his losing streak (which has been going on since 2010 I may add).

Rios isnt even a real welter...hes light Welter. So they arent even looking for competition anymore, they are looking for people they THINK he can beat (and hope that Brandon doesnt transfer up to welter well).

Lets see if you truly can call it like it is. This is a cherry picked match designed solely to keep Manny in the public eye in the hopes he doesnt get hurt. So call it like it is.

  • Donaire fans, explain your way out of this?

Ive listened to three people say "Donaire brought the fight to Rigo". If so please explain these points.

    1. The supposed "knockdown" was actually when Donaire had his elbow in Rigos throat, when he took a step back (squaring his feet) to get his throat out his neck, Donaire hit him knocking him down. Granted a knockdown, but in no point was he in trouble.

    2. Donaire actually THREW less than Rigo. Odd number if your position is he was the aggressor. Why wasnt he swinging? Unless he himself was actually getting hurt and had to keep his guard high and the walk down was posturing.

    3. Ive had thumbs in my eye, many times many rounds. Thumbs in the eye DO NOT make your eye and cheek swell up and close, they just hurt.

Final: If all Rigo was doing was running from the "force of Donaire" (which I dont think is possible for him to feel considering Donaire literally threw 20 punches a round) why wasnt Donaire angy and wanting an immediate rematch? Why so apologetic? Why come to a fight so out of condition? Why say IF Rigo moves up a weight class he would consider a rematch?

It isnt fair to conclude that even DONAIRE knew he cant beat this kid? The kid took him to school (and HURT Donaire) with only 11 professional fights under his belt. Hes supposed to look amateurish.

    Donaire is not.

  • Are the Klitchko brothers afraid of Deontay Wilder?

Despite his ranking, he is 27 wins, 27 KOs no losses. A 6'7 Heavyweight that is athletic and not hardly fat. I am curious, do you think the Klitchko brothers will fight a boxer where they DO NOT have the height advantage?

  • "Jab, Jab, Grab..", David Haye's assessment on Wladimir Klitchko?

I have to admit, its a pretty good description of Emmanuel Steward's plan for Wlad, I have actually heard him tell him to do that between rounds. So now here is the question. IF David Haye stays on the outside and runs Klit ragged, can he avoid the monstrous shots that knock everyone out. If he doesnt and allows Klit to grab him, can he mount a comparable attack against him on the inside?

Your thoughts, as always I will let you guys grade the answers.

  • For those who believe that having a "0" at the end of your record automatically makes you an all time great..?

Marciano has his fans, who make their case with the record, and so does Calzaghe. So why wouldnt Mayweather also qualify? A case could be easily made that he fought high quality opponents, so please, explain why he wouldnt (and his personality does not stand as a reason).

  • Kelly Pavlik versus WINKY WRIGHT?

Nah, its not a real fight....that would just be too good to be true wouldnt it? But we can dream a little ;)

Besides, someone on youtube made a very nice fictional "prefight hype" video of Pavlik versus Winky.

    HERE it is: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=irYEw68fiio&feature...

  • WHO WOULDA THOUGHT MANNY WOULD WIN?...umm...me.?

I am rarely one to gloat. I just had to put this post in. Not because I got the answer right (actually I got best answer) and I called the fight right (which I did)...but mostly because I got all thumbs down on my answers. Not ONE person thought that Manny had it in him to dump this fake on his ***.

So please read this link I pasted below where I predicted...and lets all say it together. DeLaHoya was NEVER THAT GOOD, just well handled!!!!

  • IS there merit to leading with your stronger hand?

Boxing styles were created to have your power hand be to the rear. As of recently, alot of boxers, such as Winky Wright and Joe Calzaghe, find alot of success leading with their dominant hand. Could modern boxing be on the verge of usurping the old wisdom of leaving your strong hand in the holster for power shots only?

  • How do boxers like David Haye and Andre Berto get no attention?

Did Roy Jones ruin the allure people have to fast and powerful punchers? In both cases, the boxers I just names are champions, AUTHORITIVELY have beaten most of their opponents, and are at the brink of major turning points in their career...David Haye cleaning out his division and vowing to do the same in the heavyweights after relinquishing belts to do so. Berto about to lock horns with some of the great welterweights of our time.

So, how come we aint talking about them??

  • Chris Byrd versus Joe Calzaghe...who would win?

  • Calzaghe versus Hopkins, point/counterpoint, who ya pickin?

HOPKINS PROS: Intelligent fighter, very adept and lots or ring saavy. In EXCELLENT shape for his age. Good at infighting and outside, excellent cheater.

HOPKINS CONS: Reserves himself, slow starter, fights sporadically...has a tendency to withdraw when equally matched, only fought Tarver at this weight.

CALZAGHE PROS: Excellent condition, great movement, extremely high workrate, fights awkward enough to be functional, seeking world recognition.

CALZAGHE CONS: Hasnt fought a world class competitor, experience limited to local fighters, and therefore hasnt been exposed to different styles.

    Your thoughts, picks?

  • If Mayweather gives Hatton a one way beating, will he finally be acknowledged?

I am by no means a Mayweather fan, and if you asked me I am on the fence about the Mayweather/Hatton fight. This is more of a question about the hating on FM. If Mayweather gave a beating to Hatton in the same way that he beat Gatti, will he finally be acknowledged as an all time great? Consequently, if Hatton beats Mayweather, will HE be considered an all time great? If Hatton IS considered one by winning, wouldnt that by consequence MAKE Mayweather an all time great? Your thoughts.
