  • Latin names for fingers - relating to guitar playing?

My daugther has just started guitar lessons, her teacher has told her that on the music, 'I'' relates to the index finger, 'm' relates to the middle finger and 'a' relates to the ring finger, he told us that the initials stand for the latin names of these fingers...not for 'index' and 'middle' as I thought! He knew what the I, M and A stood for, (I can't remember now though!), but he also said that the little finger is 'e', but he doesn't know what it stands for...just out of pure curiosity, can someone help out please? I've googled it, but can only find the spanish names where the little finger is called 'chicco' or something like that.....HELP! Thank you!

  • Any good recipes for rum sauce?

I've had a look on-line and the ones I find require cornstarch. I don't have any cornstarch in my cupboard and I'm absolutely fed up with shopping. Does anyone have any good recipes for rum sauce, or else advise me what I can use instead of corn-starch. Thank you!

  • How to find my grandmother's grave

my maternal grandmother died when my own mum was only 9 months old in 1930. Her first name was either Ann or Annie or Anne, we know her surname, we don't know her exact date of birth, she was a romany gypsy and her date of birth is 'assumed' on the marriage cert. We know where she was living, i.e. the town, when she died, but don't know where, or even if she was buried. Can anyone help me out, where do I start. Thank you
