  • PA child support...does anyone know what this means?

"ordered employer to modify income attachment"

This is on my child support case and I am the one to be receiving the payments. It shows up several times, over 5 already this year, but last year there was more than 10 total. The payments are very inconsistent though, always behind, and never in full.

  • Can I use 5w30 oil in my ford focus instead of 5w20?

Car is low on oil and I today I couldn't find 5w20 oil anywhere. The closet I found was 5w30. It is a Standard transmission. The oil cap on the car says 5w20...would it hurt my car to use the 5w30 instead? Thanks...

  • Divorce, Bad Credit, and first time home purchase...?

    Long story short...

I went through a divorce 3 years ago...it ruined my credit, and I'm in the process of bringing it back up. I've disputed several things on my report that should have been removed from the divorce. Some have been removed and I'm still waiting on others. There are items on there that are listed 2 times and the company will not remove it. However, I have raised my credit score from the low 500's to 701 according to experian. I'm currently trying to get pre-approved for a home loan...it will be my first time purchase, but these duplicate items are what is holding me back now I believe. I talked to a loan officer at a local bank and when he pulled my report he listed those items to me and said they would need to be taken care of before I could get approved even though I have a credit score in range.

My question is...what are my options...these items were from the divorce, and it's for some reason showing as a duplicate on my report...what can I do to get approved for a home loan? Are there any companies out there that help with special situations or is there any other way I can get this removed?

    Thanks for your help!

  • How can I be sure my tank is free of disease?

I have quite a big fish tank and it's been a while since I've had any fish in it except for my 2 Pleco's. At one point I got a fish or plant, I'm not sure where it came from, but from that point on my fish kept dying off one by one. It started with pop-eye on my 2 bala sharks. Since then, I can't seem to keep any new fish I get alive. Could there be a disease still living in my tank somewhere even though my Pleco's don't seem to be bothered by it?

I'm interested in getting a couple new fish, but I want to make sure that my tank is safe to put them in. What steps should I take to make sure that it is? Do I need to do a 100% water change? I have a canister filter system now...could something be living in the tubes to that? Is there any type of treatment I can get for the tank that wouldn't hurt my Pleco's?

    Thanks for your help!

  • Should I ask the doctor about removing my daughters adenoids?

My daughter (3) has been constantly sick this winter about every 2-3 weeks she comes down with a cold. She is in daycare and the doctor first said this is normal. Then after the constant colds the doctor said she had allergies. I had been using allergy medication for her and that did seem to work, but now she is sick again. Though this cold took longer to get here than normal, about 6 weeks this time.

I was told to check on having her adenoids removed...is this something I should actually consider with her history of colds and allergies? Any advice or info would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!!!

  • What are some helpful things YOU did when YOU quit smoking...?

Yes, I'm looking for things that you personally did to quit. Today is my first day of being nicotine free. I'm not on any medications, and I've only been using lollipops, gums, and sunflower seeds to pass my urges. I have nicotine lozenges, but I have not used them yet. I'm trying to pass each urge on it's own.

If I break down and need to use a lozenge...how hard is it going to be to go longer without it again? I don't want to have this feeling I have right now again...I just want to get it over with (the withdrawal) as soon as I can without rebounding back.

Please...keep your answers that contain any lectures to yourself...I don't want to hear how bad it is for me, because that's why I'm quitting. I want help...and that's it right now. Thanks!!!

  • What is the best way to treat fish with ICH?

I have 2 bala sharks and 2 irridescent sharks along with a pleco...I just recently added new plants to the tank and I see that now my fish have the white spots on them.

How treatable is this? I've never had a run in with Ich...ever. So I'm totally clueless. If I treat it properly will my fish still live? (these guys are my babies.) What is the best way to treat them...I don't have an extra tank or anything for a hospital tank...so is it still possible to get my buddies back to full health?

    Thanks a bunch!!

  • When is the right time to move from a crib to a real bed?

I just moved my daughter (turned 2 in September) into a big girl bed today...she seemed all excited about it earlier today, but now that it's bed time she's not taking too well to it. I read her stories, laid there with her for a while, and gave her a hug and kiss good night.

She has always been one to go to bed easily, but since the new bed she seems to be putting up a fight. I know she is tired because she had a long day.

Should I let her fuss, or go back in with her as this is her first night? She isn't wailing, just every 5 minutes or so lets out a whine like she isn't happy. I'm not one to run to her side anytime she is fussing, and that's the way it's always been. We've done fine with that until now...but I don't know if this is a time where she needs me to be there instead of just wants me there. Plus I don't want to start and make a habit out of me in there with her every night.

Any tips to make the change smoother would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!! =)

  • Best way to file for FULL custody?

Hi there...I asked this question in marriage and divorce, but after thinking about it I thought I might get more of a response from this section...Hope you can help!

My ex and I have been divorced now for several months, however we agreed that we would not file for custody because his schedule with work and the military is too complicated for him to have our child on a set every other weekend basis. Meaning he doesn't want to take her for a full weekend. I never went and filed because I didn't want him to actually go through with it. He physically and emotionally can't take care of her for more than 3 hours at one time. For him to see our daughter now he comes to my place and visits her here for a max of 4-6 hours per week while I work. He comes here and pretty much puts her to bed and night. That's it. I have never told him that he couldn't see her and I have always been more than accomodating to "his schedule." There have also been times when I have said that I have plans and I won't be around this weekend.

For the most part things have been working well, but recently he had been accusing me of not letting he see her when he is actually the one that doesn't show. The problem with him and the main reason I divorced him is that he is a pathological liar and he lies so much that he believes everything he says is true. There is NO winning or proving a point with him even when I know damn well I'm right.

My question is...how hard is it to get full custody of my daughter? She lives with me now full time and is never with him. Is there any means that I can file against him so that he can't take her?

Sorry it's so long, I'm just so lost as to what do to with him. Thanks in advance.

  • Best way to sell used jewelry?

I have 2 rings and 1 diamond pendant from my ex husband that I want to sell. All the items are small diamonds but there are many of them. They are all white gold and the 1 ring has 6 small rubies in it.

Is there any place I can go to check going rates to make sure that I get a decent price for them? I have no clue what a re sell rate would be...and I don't want to get short changed. Any help would be great! Thanks much!!

  • African frogs?

I just got 2 african frogs the other day, and the first day I had them in the tank they were very active. Today they aren't. They are in with 2 Bala sharks and a Sucker fish. The one is hiding around the top by the water spout for the tank. He was there for so long that this morning I thought he was dead when I woke up. I went to go take him out of the tank...and he's alive.

My questions is...are these guys active, do they like to be lazy a lot, or am I just worrying too much? I couldn't really find too much on their activity level anywhere so any help is appreciated...thanks much!

  • How do you trust again?

My ex put me through some horrible things, pretty much everything that came from his mouth was a lie. We are done with, for close to a year now...but finally divorced earlier this year. I can't seem to get over the fact that not everyone is a liar like him...whatever people tell me, I automatically think it's a lie because I'm so used to dealing with his lies for 5 years. How do I get over it? I know it's possible to trust again...but I'm having a really hard time doing it and I'm just lost.

  • Can you replace a bulb in an LCD monitor?

Is it worth it, is it possible, or should I just go get a new monitor?

It died on me last night, and I had it looked at this morning and I was told it's the bulb.
