I have a friend, a beautiful lady, who is going through the separation/divorce process and has been through years of verbal, emotional and mental abuse at the hands of her husband. On a mental level she knows she has to leave, but on an emotional level she is still very attached to him.

I have let her know how I feel about her - that I hope one day that our relationship might develop further, but that I accept in the meantime that all we can be is friends. She is ok with that.

Has anyone else 'been there, done that'? and if so what difficulties did they encounter? and above all did a relationship blossom, and did it work?

Ideally the receiver will cover frequencies 100khz-30Mhhz+, and be able to decode the DRM (Digital Radio Mondial) broadcasts. If it could pick up the DAB+ broadcasts used here in Australia that would be an added bonus.

I was doing a right hand turn at traffic lights at the precise time that a large articulated construction type truck was doing a left hand turn (at a large rate of knots) There was a shake from turbulence, and then the driverside window just spontaneously shattered inwards. There was no sign of a stone or rock that might have cause it. Has anyone ever had a similar experience or heard of turbulence shattering a car window? It was new for me.
