I have two optical audio inputs which I assume are the cleanest so I use them for my DVD and computer music inputs.

Then I'm left with the DTV/HD/DVR and XM to hook up. The DTV/HD/DVR has an RCA digital out and the preamp has a digital RCA input. Is this the next most efficient input?

I'm looking to put straight bars on a road bike. Do Shimano MTB shifters have the same cable pull as their road shifters or do I need to switch the shifters and derailleurs?

And why?

For just one example there's the statement that the Republican health care solution is that they just want people to die quickly.

While reasonable people know this isn't true, many people repeat this and expand on it. People with an agenda on both sides wildly exaggerate or fabricate flaws in their opponents to gin up their base causing huge divides between the two parties that are trying to govern the country. As the rift widens it seems like the two sides are getting farther apart all the time.

Can this rift be mended? What might it take? Another terrorist attack? War with China? A catastrophic natural disaster?

Aren't these people basically just trying to do what they think is good for their country?

For those of you who are unfamiliar, a terrorist was apprehended who was intending to bomb a NYC subway (trains, not sandwiches).

I guess a fourth question is, if there are more users and attendant health problems would they be worth the reduction in drug violence, curbed cost of interdiction and incarceration and increased tax revenues?

Assume that it would be regulated for access like cigarettes or alcohol.

A simple Yes of No will do.

Where would you suggest moving to that would have similar or superior freedom, economic activity and opportunity, prosperity, security and health aspects compared to the US?

Why do global warming believers take everything they are told as fact without any skepticism whatsoever?

How many believers have researched or can answer the following questions?

What percentage of global CO2 is produced through human activity?

What percentage of global warming is affected by CO2?

Are there other factors that are key in warming of the planet?

Are there other greenhouse gases? What are they? What effect do they have?

How can we reduce CO2 by an amount that will change the warming of the planet? How much CO2 do we have to remove? How much effect will it have on the temperature? What effect will it have on society?

Are there valid ways of lowering the temperature that don't involve lowering CO2?

Why would anyone put supreme faith in scientists that have been wrong before and have financial interests in supporting AGW.

Why would anyone put supreme faith in politicians who are lobbied by industries or have personal interests that would profit from Cap & Trade legislation?

"People should learn that lesson about me because next year when I start presenting some very difficult choices to the country, I hope some of these folks who are hollering about deficits and debt step up because I'm calling their bluff,"

For those who don't want to read, the IRS has mistakenly given new home-buyer credits to people who applied before the credit started and to incarcerated prisoners.

Would you support legislation that tied attorney compensation in a medical malpractice lawsuit award to be equal to the percentage an insurance company is allowed to charge above their costs for health insurance?

For instance, if an insurance company is only allowed 20% of the income to be allotted to their overhead and profit, would it be fair to limit attorneys fees to 20%?

If the insurance industry can live on 20% margin, why can't the legal profession do the same?

While it appeared something fishy was going on each administration was resisting calls for investigation.
