  • Your estranged parent approaches you with a strange request?

you are approached by one of your birthparents, whom you haven't seen or heard from in decades. then you realize the only reason they have approached you is because they want you to donate an organ to their other child who is dying. what do you do?

  • a woman you had a one-night stand with is holding your sperm hostage?

she says she will give you the discarded condom for a payment of anywhere from $30,000-$90,000. if your family was wealthy, would you pay it? you never learned her name, and since she is part of a criminal organization that does this, she got a hold of your phone number and address while you were distracted, so it may be difficult for you to bring the police in.

  • Ur in the middle of a zombie apocalypse?

And you have ended up with a motley crew of persons, incl one or two space cadets, and one momma's boy, an azzhole, and a know it all. Oh, and let's throw in a whiny one as well. At least once during your escape from the city, someone in your group has given away your position. You don't know any of these people, you just ran into them while trying to escape. You have a chance to escape; but it could require using the group as bait. Would you do it?

  • fans of what chili wants: do you also have a list?

i was channel surfing, and i came upon the new reality show "what chili wants" on vh1. chili is looking for love, but her friends say that her list of requirements is too strict (he can't drink, smoke, or eat pork. no more than two baby mamas, a washboard stomach, must love god and kids. oh, and he must be packing). as i was watching it, i noticed that i too have a list, and mine is just as bad!

he can't smoke, drinks only moderately, must be college educated, have good credit, NO baby mamas, have a sense of humor (but not frat-boyish), and be sensitive. oh, and he must be packing.

i developed this list during my last few years of celibacy, and now i want to find a serious relationship again. i'm hoping to find someone by 10/10/10 (or triple x; i hope that will inspire a BEAUTIFUL night of loving). does anyone else think by list is too exacting? i need constructive info, not potshots.

  • do you think sex has any place in a horror story?

i'm writing a horror story, and it has sex as a main component. thing is, most of my favorite stories don't have a lick of sex in them. is there any circumstance where sex in a horror story would work? (oh, and by sex, i don't mean rape or anything.)

  • The childless of the world, raise your hands!?

Am I not the only person without children who are sick and daym tired of people who happen to have kids postulating that because the plumbing works, they get some special child-rearing roadmap? That because I chose to not procreate, I can't possibly know what it takes to raise a kid? Get real: everyone who's been a child has had access to some form of parenting--be it good, bad, or nonexistent. All they do is wing it, and modify thier behaviors based on how they were raised. I think they're just sore when we childless dare to let them know that we can objectively give them pointers.

  • Fans of fantasia's show?

I'm sorry, but what is up with that mother? I'm floored with how she claims that teeny's laziness is because fantasia "enabled" him. How is that possible? Fantasia didn't raise him! And then that baby brother of hers; the one who's been suspended three times in one school year! Tasia tries to take charge of the situation, and mom directs her to the absentee father. Because she can't make a decision on her own. he's living in tasia's house, and mom's clearly got nothing to do; is it so hard to accept that the person whose home ur living in has to make the rules. It kills me how they take advantage of her by living off her work; but when she tries to put her foot down, it's "now, now; that's not condusive to a happy family". Am I the only person that thinks she lives with lazy, toxic people?

  • if moment of truth series was brought back, who would you like to see on it?

i've been wondering about that show lately. how for exposure and charity some celebrities could come on and confess things they've been avoiding. like if howard k stern took advantage of anna nicole smith, or if how much did diddy know about tupac's first shooting, how much did he know about the shooting in the club w/ j-lo? how much did shug knight know about the attack against ez-e? what celebrities/controverseys would you like to see on the show?

  • ethical dilemma: A man has two sons, and one needs an organ or blood transfusion?

this is a fictional story premise: one was born out of wedlock, and he has nothing to do with the boy. the second is one he raised with his wife and the boy is the love of his life. at some later time, the younger boy needs an organ, or a blood transfusion to save his life. the boy has a rare blood type, and neither parent is compatible. the father finds out the older boy (because now he remembers him) has that same rare type. when he locates the boy, the older son refuses to help. how would you like to read for the situation to end?

  • my sony vaio wont power up?

i have an older computer (now replaced) that won't power up unless i constantly remove/reinsert the battery, and go through power cycles. the green light comes on, but the screen won't light up until i do this sometimes up to 20 times! most of the time it won't power on at all. like i said, i have since replaced it with a new computer, but there are programs/files on it that i need to move. it is a sony vaio vgn s170, with a celeron m processor. is it the processor that's making it behave this way? and if so, can i replace it myself?

  • bestsellers written by functioning illiterates (twilight, the notebook)?

while i know my statement is a bit harsh, i don't think anyone who has read either of these novels would believe they are experiencing Pulitzer-level material. but when you have a good idea, it's proof that the idea alone can overcome writing "filled with thesaurus abuse, and purple prosed filled mess". harlan ellison stated that "if you look at the crap judith krantz writes, you'll know ants or aphids can do it." and robert waller's "bridges of madison county" is on my list, too. can anyone come up with any other authors with bestsellers written so poorly, that they shouldn't have been.

  • fans of for the love of ray j?

i'm a bit miffed about the way that "dj" put luscious on the spot. someone please explain to me why it was ray's business if she "smashed" some other guy in her past? it's not like it happened last week! get over yourself! i'm sure he would get offended if she started asking him about ALL the women in his past! heck, at least she doesn't have a sex tape! other than the "what if she only dates ballers" position, what's ur view?

  • reality tv--does it destroy families?

i was just watching Larry King live, and Hulk Hogan was talking about being on the brink of suicide after his family fell apart. it happened to occur sometime after his family was put on tv. i can also mention the balloon boy family, the housewives franchise, etc. it seems people either do overwhelming things to be on tv, or to stay on. does anyone else think that these shows could potentially destroy families?
