I've heard movies are not yet available in Canada. What else can we not get here?

I've just added bus and ferry schedules to my website http://mtransit.ca/ and have been thinking about how to increase accessibility to bus schedules for those who have vision problems. Halifax's official site, unfortunately like many transit company sites, were offering schedules in acrobat format. My tables are very clean HTML tables (with lots of CSS).

The W3C accessibility standard appears to be very overwhelming. I don't want to spend a week reading and digesting that.

A couple questions:

(1) Some routes have schedules many pages long. How could I make these easier to navigate through, yet keep them simple?

(2) Any good sites out there that have had good reviews for schedule accessibility.

My wife's mother is very sick and maybe dieing. Problem is that she is in India and we live in Eastern Canada. My wife has not seen her for 10 years. A plane ticket for my wife is $2000-$3000. That is a lot of money for our family. I was recently laid off 1 day every 2nd week and there is a chance that I may get laid off more days, or even that my company will fail in the next year. Further I only have access to about $1000, maybe $1500 on nearly maxed out credit card. Two young teenage kids and we are already just barely keeping our heads above water financially. Could borrow money from family, but it would take a maybe a year to repay.

I am torn. My heart says yes, my brain says no.

America's debt is is climbing, new countries like China and India have much faster growth. Then again, America is blessed with large natural resources and open space. What will the world be like in 50 years though?

We keep hearing about cow factories. Then there are all those antibiotics and drugs. Do the nutrients in milk outweigh the dangers?

Both Obama and McCain are repeatedly stating that they can decrease US dependence on Middle East oil and this will stop oil dollars going to the Middle East.

It seems to me that the world's new oil consumers (e.g. China, India) will more than make up for anything the US will no longer be using.
